You did an outstanding job communicating your understanding to your audience. The show of poise and confidence in explaining procedures is noted, often giving keyboard short cuts which reflect your mastery of using the software. Finally you organized the learning activity well, leading your audience from the simple to the more complex . Congratulations on a job well done.

Wow, thanks John! I really appreciate those kind words. I never know how it's coming across to the viewer so this means a lot to me, thank you!

@@bydesignmethod Communication is an art, but not everyone is an artist. You, my friend, rival the likes of Picasso! Clearly, you’ve mastered the monster known as Affinity Photo. Affinity Photo is a great software program. Its problem is that it would take a life time to learn its intricacies. Quickly approaching the age of 79, I have used most of that lifetime. So, I must rely on the talent of folks like you to short cut the learning process. You do a masterful job with your clear and concise manner as wells the selection of topics that fuel my interests. You are a credit to the group of superb content creators on You Tube. Once again, congratulations on doing such a fine job.

What would be the quickest way to do a selection of a tree with the background showing through the leaves and branches
@bydesignmethod Жыл бұрын
Channels! I don't have a video created myself yet but that's what you'll use - do a quick search on how to use channels for isolations. It works great for things like trees.

Didnt someone develope a new hair editing software? Supposed to be the bees knees - I remember hearing/reading something to that effect. As a hobby fashion photographer, hair has always been my bane 😮💨
@bydesignmethod3 ай бұрын
Hey, I'm not sure about that but it makes sense.. hair is so tricky and I'm sure someone somewhere has a really good AI tool for that! Fashion photography sounds awesome but I bet hair is an uncontrollable force!

That was really useful. The Affinity help files are a bit sparse on what the blend modes actually do, so it's good to see one in action! Also at kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4CmmndvebGmfKs that was a inadvertent but very cool and easy way of making a silhouette!
