We replace the faulty evap valve on the fuel tank. This is the cause of P0440 and P0442 on the 01-05 Lexus IS300. The factory valve gets a hairline crack and doesn't seal correctly causing the system to lose pressure and throw the code. Most of the guys online are cutting the seat floor to access which is lazy and dangerous.
We do it the correct way by dropping the gas tank.
