And, to this day, you are the only physical therapist I have ever heard not prescribe more internal rotation exercises for an internal rotation problem. Common sense to me, but surprising how often people give themselves more of what they don't need. If you got too much of 1 thing, do the opposite - counteract it. Rant over. Unfortunately for me years of childhood obesity have permanently affected the bone structure of my legs, leaving me with permanently deformed knock knees despite losing 100 lbs. Being told by multiple specialists and physical therapists that my condition couldn't be fixed from anything outside of surgery sucked, a lot. I thought it would prevent me from marching in a drum corps, which had always been a dream of mine. Despite this, I did as many exercises as possible to help me with this issue, and I eventually did end up marching, something I thought would be impossible for me :)

Similar situation here since I was young up until 17ish I was pushing close to 300 pounds, My highest weight was around 292, from old pictures I can see how badly I had knocked knees, right now I'm at about 180 and it's gotten better but it's still fairly noticeable, luckily hasn't stopped me from running and weight lighting but I have constant knee pain where it can just ache if it's too cold out sometimes

My dad has dislocated both shoulders multiple times and doctors wanted to do surgery, obviously not going to spend money on a 60 year old injury when all we need is pain relief. Massive thank you to ATHLEAN-X. Had ACL surgery 2 years ago and have since returned to football. I noticed this earlier this year my knee started swelling regularly after a game and the next day I would really lose a lot of my range of motion on the leg. I was blaming my knee for all of this but since I came across this channel and started doing these exercises addressing the hips & feet, along with other various exercises, I've found things have really improved. For example I played football yesterday and still have full range of motion today and no knee swelling! I also got insoles for my football boots to help with any flat feet issues and as soon as I came home I was regularly icing my knee. Delighted with the progress so far!

After a year of struggling I've gone from high arched to flat footed. After seeing a podiatrist he pointed out that I have over pronation in that same side my injuries were worse on. I kept checking it out in a mirror to realize my right knee was also becoming knocked with my left just starting to follow. I'm saving this video to add into my daily life. I've been running since last year, and had a tibialis posterior injury.... never recovered from that. I thought it was purely overtraining, but probably wasn't the only thing - but even though I had some consultations, I was never told what was going on. A couple of weeks ago, my right arch was hurting and felt like collapsing (both are naturally low but the other one is OK). The human body is such a piece of art. I've been battling with seems to be tendinitis for the past week. I am strongly active. I'm a professional athlete. So my muscular endurance is very high so I thought it was strange that I was battling this "" tendinitis for that long. After performing the stretches in the cross ball work, followed by the activation I feel instantly better! Been following Athlean-X since college! Love, Jeff, and his work. Should be off for a Nobel peace prize.hahs

This is exactly what i was looking for. I’ve just realised yesterday that my legs are alright it’s just my knees are not in the right position. I’ve checked it in my mirror and realised that when i move my hips outwards with the help of my foot while standing , it looks perfect so I searched it and here’s my guy Athlean X. Thanks

Thank you very much Jeff..tested these exercises...not only these give strength to feet and knees, it gives the whole body a strong support as knees and feet are in corrected position the whole body is stabilized...feels like a Super Saiyan..These are better than normal flat feet exercises, as the problem is with external rotator muscles...Once again Thank you very much Jeff...

I really found it very beneficial and I have problems that started only 6 years ago after a badly healed wound, knowing that I had spent all my life practicing the martial and that my legs were the part the stronger of my body, but after the injury, I lost all this strength and I lost balance and my posture became in a bad state and this caused me an arched leg and I am very confused because I do not know how to fix it and every time I try to work my legs harder it gets worse and worse every time, so please give us more videos about this because it is very useful, it helps people's lives , thank you sir

I was pretty obese when I started to hit the gym - now I'm no more. At first I felt like eveybody was watching me, but soon I understood people are a) not giving a shit about others or 2) supportive and nice, as sport lovers should be. Don't be shy ! And have fun.

@@it41tanmayaron26 Did the PT help, yes marginally, but I was still unable to go running. The PT was very close in identifying that week glutes were related to knee pain but the exercises were not specific enough so the pain never fully resolved.

@@blackhatmen6385 well for me I kind of kind, I went to a physiotherapist for back and found out my entire lower back was tight and gave me some excersie whiched help. But some people are born with it, but I recommend you go to physical therapy. I live in London so everything is free. But also get a x ray and ask the doctors. My physcio found I pronate on my arch feet. Weak and tight muscle also tight belly muscles

I think Jesse is a massive factor as to how approachable Jeff's videos are. He "plays" the average guy on the street. He doesn't show off his physique and acts as the local idiot e.g intro vids and "vince" impressions. We can all relate to him. We can't come close to rating to Jeff (or Raymond)

I have been suffering with pelvic floor issues for a year & I feel this has a lot to do with it becuase my adductor muscle is so so painful it’s actually pulling my knee & foot to the floor further than needed, I have also had confirmed by my Bowen therapist that I have weak external rotators so what your saying is 100% right & your a real credit to the public for sharing :)
