So much better. I don’t know which step ultimately fixed it but it’s a lot better. I tried messing with graphics prior to this with no luck. Something in here helped tremendously

It’s a hidden folder, you need to go into file browser and click on view -> show hidden files/folders

Still hiccuping alot even before and after changing. The only thing that works temporary is resetting router/modem but still acts up. Not sure if its a legit game issue. No other games on my PC have this issue, period.

Have you ever played shooters like fps games or COD for instance? Pre-loading is loading the shaders before playing that way when you load into maps it already knows what sun lightning and shadows will possibly occur so it can be ready to go instead of loading it mid map and causing a stutter or fps drop

Lag is related to network latency not gpu. Also poe1 and poe2 is cpu instensive. Fps drop could mean a lot of things but poe2 s not optimized for low end pc. Rtx 3050 6gb should be the minimum system req for gpu. Anything weaker than rtx 3050 is not playable on mapping. Your fps will drop below 10fps if your gpu is weaker than 3050. If your gpu is equal or on higher end. It's not a gpu problem.

Regardless of your question, this is a solution everyone should know about. Fixed my game entirely. Went from unplayable using any AOE characters, to running max AOE no issues.

@@xVietvenomx I was able to get mine fixed, not sure which did it but, in steam I verified my integrity of the game files, then cleared the shaders folder in the appdata logs changed the power performance of the game in the Nvidia control panel, reset the 3d settings back to default in the Nvidia control panel and then restart my computer and it ran just fine. Im typing this from memory on my phone if you need a more in depth let me know and in the morning I'll hop on my computer and go over a step by step of what I did to get it goin

I have a 4090 and I was stuttering in a 10 breach map with hundreds of items on the floor. Same with my buddy. We couldn’t drop or pick up items for 5 mins after each breach.
