I'm 2 months in and loving watching videos on locs! The frizz is real, I'm documenting my journey also to motivate myself.

Girl I’m 8 months locd as well and my locs are very soft & frizzy at the front like yours! It’s so annoyingggg. Definitely gonna try this

They have those little thump protectors (like a rubber thimble) to protect your fingers from getting stabbed.

I’m wondering if I can use this on my two strand twist hair ends they keep pulling out

I’m gonna have to get me one of these. The starter locs in the front of my head are soooo frizzy bc the texture is looser coiled than the back. Your’s look similar to how mine do too, so this might work for me. Thank you ❤

Yes you should try it and see if it helps💕

You should consider interlocking your roots instead of re twisting. It’s less maintenance.

What is interlocking?

Was told you should never do this technique close to the roots anyway bc it pulls the hair follicles and won't grow back. To start this 1.5 to 2 inches down from the root.

Thank you so much! You the only video that made sense to me😭

Also I thought locsmithing was basically wrapping your hair around the loc still … you rolling the hair around the loc so its the same thing basically. I would rather crocheting though so thank you!

I have ALOT of frizz and ALOT of loose hairs. I’m kinda nervous to crochet them. Does anyone know what will happen if I just leave it be? I don’t want my locs to thin. They’re still starters right know but I mean in the future

Nothing will happen just leaving your hair be. But for maintenance care of my loc, I mist my hair with Aleo Vera juice (you can use plain water) then take the loose strand of hair and wrap it around my locs starting from top to bottom and it works perfectly for me. I do this once a week and whenever I retwist my hair.
