How to fix Low water pressure at your shower , sink , or toilet on RV

yes great vid. my pressure super low at my bathroom sink. but the have the two different lines so i guess it MUST be something clogged st the filter screen on tye faucet. but i did try and it diesnt seem to unscrew. ill try again. thanks

I'm having the exact problem but cannot find solution. If I use the internal 12v water pump, the water pressure is fine, but using the resorts water, there is a lot of pressure for a few seconds and then it goes weak like yours. I changed the blue filter outside and even removed the water regulator. Any idea what else it could be? Thanks!!!

I have the same question too. We even tried without a regulator and no increase in pressure from the city water connection.

Mine ended up being my water filter and hose after the cold front we had this weekend even though I left everything disconnected. My water pressure regulator was also acting up even though I had it at 40 PSI. Still going to replace the regulator even though everything is working now and no more leaks.

not recomended but in a pinch if say stores are closed like me i took carb cleaner to the pos and now it works good again but usually we go through 1 a month here

a guy could soak one in clr while using the other one and keep swapping them out just a strange thought if your a penny saver

check if you an outdoor shower that has additional valves that may be partially closed. Also disconnect the hose supplying you water and see if there is pressure there.

@@xenaswolf may be the city water. That happens sometimes too. Disconnect the hose and see the pressure without the rv connecte

That should be it if ALL pressures on ALL outlets are being affected.

My 5th wheel only drops pressure on the hot side. The cold side is perfect but the hot side starts off high and the quickly drops low. What could that be? I’ve checked the check valve and it seemed fine. What else could it be?

The Anode rod may have deteriorated inside your hot water heater and all the debris clogged up a hose somewhere. Its a matter of checking every single hot water connection at their valves. So if its the sink, close the water outside the camper, unscrew the hot water hose, place a bucket and then have another person quickly open and close the water and see if any debris comes out.

I bought a camper from someone on Facebook, and I’ll have water hooked up and everything to the camper but when I go inside and turn on the shower or my sink, nothing, can someone help? :(

@@saiburs try to follow all the water lines and look for valves. Try checking outside storage compartments, try by the hot water heater also sometimes there's valves there

your main water inlet is being restricted somewhere either by a filter or strainer. disconnect and see what your pressure is without the rv connected.

@@EddiesCustomsandRestorations I will try that. It’s odd because if I have my kitchen sink water turned on the pressure is very low but if I leave that water on and flush the toilet the pressure gets back up higher

@@kylemcelhiney4969 yes the regulator is starting to fail. Mine does the same when the regulator starts to fail because after flushing, you raise up the pressure and then it maintains. In a sense you force the pressure back up by doing that
