The Gaethje fight will always be one of the more enjoyable fights to watch for me. Like sure, we're in here to talk techniques, learning from mistakes, and looking at areas that should be addressed but sometimes, it's really just fun to see the raw side of it where the fighters get to the point where they begin to mostly act on instinct and/or make choices they wouldn't normally do. Rare fights where hearts are on full display and tested.

Please more of this content. I've learned a lot from watching your analysis. Great martial arts teacher. Dustin said in their post fight interview that he would've been KO'ed if Chandler threw straights punches instead of looping. Chandler has great power but he's really aggressive with his hands and forgets about defense. If you're not going to be using head movement, than his guard has to be on point. Dustin did way better in this matter than Chandler.

Love the video breakdowns! It's probably difficult/ unfair to expect Chandler at this stage to make major changes to his game. Great match up with Mcgregor for the viewer. Both guys are likely to try and take the centre of the octagon and take each others heads off. It is impossible really to know how much each fighter has left. Chandler had been in so many wars and is approaching 37. Mcgregor, through injury and time off, might also be done. It feels like the loser goes home and winner might have one last run at title

What I think cejudo got wrong is chandler didn’t lose that last back take due to sweat necessarily. Chandler went to wrap his leg around Poirier but Dustin grabbed his right leg that stopped the leg from being wrapped around him. So it was Dustin more so countering the slam vs him losing it due to sweat

The thing about chandler is that everyone likes him and he looks cool, so everyone wants to pretend that he's better than he really is, but the guy's wrestling and striking are limited for the elite level, he relies heavily on his physicality. Fighters with great physical attributes like chandler, prochazka, ngannou, nunes, etc. just don't face the need to improve on their skillsets very often because they can get away with doing things wrong thanks to their power.
