Manually entering the DNS worked. It would connect to the router but failed to connect to the internet for some reason. Me and my daughter's switch for some reason. I would blame the our internet if it wasn't for the fact that literally every other device have no problems connecting.

So my switch will connect successfully to my network when I’m in the settings, and it shows the WiFi bars in the top corner, but when I try to load the e-shop or play online, it fails. Same here. I can connect to my network and the internet. However when I test or go to e-shop it does not work yet wifi is still connected in upper right hand corner. I have 4 kids and the other 2 consoles and switch lite work perfectly. It is just this one switch that sucks.

Hey if anyone has a PS4 (this might work on Xbox too) use the console and go to "view connection status" under internet settings and fill in everything you see on it into your switch (also add 20 to the IP address like in this video). This worked for me and now my switch has a strong connection. Hope this helps!
