Aside from this initial internet connection issue, do you know of any other issues that may pop up later on, while I use my Switch, that may happen due to I having an international version? Region lock is in prodinfo. So if your switch is "unlocked", it is a very simple procedure to force it to North America, where all 5GHz channels are available, regardless of its actual region.

On my Tp-link Archer C4000 router, I have 3 wifi options (2.4 Ghz, 5 Ghz-1, 5 Ghz-2). On the first 5 Ghz the channel range goes from 36-48, and for the second goes from 149-165. Currently I'm only using the first and have the second disabled, though like someone else mentioned here you could set up one 5 Ghz for the switch, and use the other for various devices.

bro after I modchip some oled consoles, in those who have skyhinix emmc the wifi doesnt work properly.. 5GHz APs are missing.. 2.4GHz APs will not connect unless incredibly close.. do you think that could be because of this latest firmware version 16.0.3 ?

Hello Sthetix, for some reason my Hwfly is unable to glitch successfully immediately after I power down my OLED. This has only been a problem as of recently. Whenever I power down my console to boot into Horizon (in order to play online), the console just fails to glitch. I have to leave out the Switch for a while or disconnect the battery entirely before the chip is able to glitch successfully again. Really annoying as there is not really a way for me to conveniently switch OSes right now. I'm on Switch OLED, any tips?

I could need some help and I don’t know who can possibly help on this. Maybe you can? I bought a new switch yesterday, so I now have two OLED switches. I noticed today that my newest switch has significantly worse WiFi than the old one. And that’s when I notice that my old one gets 5GHz in frequency band but my new one only gets 2.4GHz. I just don’t understand why bcs they are connected to the exact same WiFi… and there is no answer to how I can change this. Kinda sucks that the new switch isn’t doing as good as the old one.

The answer is, they have different region, and it is set from the factory. For example one is Japanese region and one is us region

Please assist. My Nintendo Switch Lite became unresponsive while playing Xenoblade 3. It can no longer boot to cfw, nor can it boot to hekate; after the Nintendo Switch logo, the screen goes black; however, it can boot to ofw fine by removing the SD card and turning it on. I attempted to format the SD card and copy the most recent atmosphere and hekate. I tried a new mmc and a new mmc with atmos, but the problem persisted. I tried again to migrate from sxos to atmosphere using your instructions, but I got the same black screen. It's been in the atmosphere for a few months now, by the way.

Doesn't make any difference. I did everything as show on video. The only difference is my country lies in Europe so I had already proper geographical region chosen. Then I just lowered the channel number, it was 36 and it did nothing to change Switch's connection from 2.4 to 5 GHz
