Thank you so much for this video. I received the email for a permanent limitation on the 23rd of June, then watched the video the very same day. I logged my complaint into BBB and got a response from the company (BBB) the same day. 5 days later, on the 25th of June, I got a response from Paypal. They requested that I add a few documents and explain my use of my PayPal account. These steps took less than 10 minutes to fill, and then once submitted, my account went into review. The next day on the 29th of June, my account was restored. It took about 6 days from when my account became permanently limited to when it was restored. I found the video's steps helpful and appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

I had the same issue but this was a brand new business account and it was a new limited company never traded, I supplied all the information needed to open the account up and then received the red triangle flag. Followed by a very rude email saying that the account was suspended and will follow closure. I have had a personal PayPal account for over 20 years and never had this type of issue. Their customer service is absolutely awful keeping me hanging on the phone for over 30mins and then putting the phone down at their end. After watching other youtube videos I am not alone. If this is how I am going to be treated, I am glad that it has happened at an early stage that they are not worth doing business with and dumping my stake of shares in PayPal. PayPal needs to understand they are not the only online money transaction service.

It seems interesting that with negative feedback from various social media outlets is a powerful force. But no apologise, in one way I feel that I won my battle with big corporate company. @@jonesmbuso Both my business and personal accounts were limited. Got a reply on my business paypal account (which was only a few days old). They reinforced their decision. But my personal paypal is about 10 years old. It's currently limited because system says my ID has expired. I explained to them (in my BBB compaint) that in Kenya ID cards are not renewable. You get it once and you're all set. Also attached a scan of my original ID card in my BBB complaint. I'm hopeful the ban on this account will be lifted. Thanks for your help. Will wait it out. If I don't hear anything after 21 days will open a new one with a different IP address. But hopefully it doesn't come to that.

I contacted the BBB using a vpn and filed a complaint, I uploaded paypal's response as well. After submitting the complaint BBB contacted me twice, first to let me know that the submission was successful and second to let me know that they contacted paypal ... after 3 weeks PayPal lifted all limitations and I was not asked to add any documents

Hi, after submitting your complaint, did you immediately receive a confirmation email from BBB? I always get an error message when submitting the complaint while the VPN is turned on. If I turned off my VPN then submit it, it will show that it's submitted but I never receive any email from BBB.

How can I withdraw funds from Paypal limited for 180 days? I got an email on 163rd day that I'm now eligible to withdraw the funds yet when I place withdrawal it doesn't go through.
