I had a problem with my mice and keyboard after last update. It worked perfectly in BIOS, but when the windows 10 lockscreen loaded, it didn't respond. After many reboots and changes in BIOS (USB settings) windows has shown me this problem. I tried recovery tools, but not suprisingly nothing worked. I was getting ready to format the disc and reinstall the system, but before that i found your video. Few clicks, and everything works perfectly (including the mice and keyboard 😂). You're my hero man.

I'll be honest I wasn't expecting this to work, especially after I input the /rebuildbcd command and the console told me that there were multiple things that could identify as the windows installation and couldn't be added into the list. Nevertheless I put in every command in the order you did and it still worked, thank you!

Hi. Are you sure you are selecting the USB to boot from? Maybe you are still booting from your HDD.

this happened to me and i fixed it under a minute, what i did is just go to bios and change boot device priority 1st to my ssd (where the system file is located) then followed by my hdd. restart it and it's worked.

@@sortakalpuyu i had the same problem, but i restarted and tried the commands all in order, the first time i did it even though i got the error i still went thru with the rest and it added something, then the second time i went thru it, it worked and fixed so idk but doing it a second time even after seeing the error the first time and going thru with it still fixed it

You missunderstood. You need a working pc and create a bootable usb on that pc to be able to repair your own pc.

hey i tried changing my GUID because i got hardware banned on a game and i changed my guid in system config but i didnt change the guid in my system boot because i was unable to access my BCD File so then i am stuck with this error and whevener i try pressing f8 or enter it flashes black and does nothing is that the same error you had and will this video help fix my problem

Thanks, but it reports there are no Windows installations even when using a Windows 10 DVD. All I did was a system restore, and the pc ended up unbootable. I have also done chkdsk without any problems found.
