Great video. thanks. My w169 A170 had a slightly different rear mirror housing - all one piece. The light was slightly different as well. But easy to replace. Work the clips slowly and bit by bit pull and push the rear mirror housing off and it will detach fully. Be a little patient. I used multiple smaller flat head screw drivers instead of knives. Worked better.

I have a notification on my display saying that my light has got problem. I try your video to see if something was disconnected. Answer, no. So I put all back but my light still doesn't work. But the message on my display disappeared. Is this normal? I am going to fully change the light with a new one. Do you think the problem can come from elsewhere?

I have a 2006 Mercedes A class A150 (still W169......... but the mirror and indicator are slightly smaller). Will replacing the mirror indicator be the same as this 2008 - 2011 facelift video, - please ? Thank you.

Hey! I would have a question. I have the same mirror, the indicator is working properly but the folding system is broken. One little piece of thing broke which is responsible for the folding, it's like a tiny stick which is connecting to the motor. It is the same way to disassamble the mirror?

Hi Benedek, I don't have folding mirrors on my car but if you want to dissemble the mirror to gain access then this process should help.

Is it possible to only replace the bulb within the lens? Or must an entirely new part be installed? The indicator on my car is in good shape, but it is just not lighting up and I am not sure why.

I don't think so Matthew as these are led's it will be tricky. If you forward to the part where I fit the light unit you can see it is all sealed. You may just have a loose connection. Disassemble and try that first.
