What if The Force Awakens was completely different? What if it included The Mandalorians and more.
I think it’s safe to say that the Star Wars fanbase made their opinions very clear about the new trilogy.
There is an extreme divide, but it does seem like most people are not fans of the new movies. I’m somewhere in between. I don’t hate these new films, but I feel like there was a lot of wasted potential.
Instead of focusing on the negative, let me just jump right into the story. My Star Wars trilogy will have a completely different story and vision. No First Order. No return of the Emperor. No Snoke.
Rey and Luke are not the only Jedi around, there is a new Jedi order, the Knights of Ren are all force users, and the Mandalorians will be the main villains of the trilogy.
In this video I will mostly focus on my alternate version of The Force Awakens.
How awesome would it have been if Rey was a Skywalker from the start? If Fin was a Mandalorian like Din Djarin? If Ben Solo was an anti-hero who led his own Force using order, the Knight of Ren.
Luke’s new Jedi order will actually include multiple Jedi knights.
And this new trilogy will give into the expanded universe, explore elements like Mortis and the mysteries of the force, and more.
There is a lot to explore, so let’s dive into CBR’s version of Star Wars Episode 7: Knights of Hope.

There sure are a lot of holes, but hey, your plot points are so general that they could be filled by good writing anyways. Overall I think you did a good job. I usually hate what ifs because it relies too much on the source material and almost always becomes just a slightly different version of events. This story sounds much better than what we were given. It gives each of the new characters a much better story and opportunity to showcase not only where they come from, but how they can cement themselves into the grand story and legacy of the over arching Star Wars story. What you described at the beginning, “using the expanded universe, and the cartoons” is lovely. The comics, games, and books have so much to offer. But they totally ignored it for the most recent trilogy. I found they did a great job on obi-wan furthering his story and building off of the complex context surrounding him and Anakin, as well as taking into account the levels of power and capabilities we’ve seen as fans of the animated works. Wasnt all fan fare and unbelievable force hacks to make up for bad writing. I love star wars, but the movies have been really dashing my enjoyment of the universe as a whole the past several years. Asking because I'm hoping for some form of DLC for the game to tie into any of the movies or New Expanded Universe (obviously Disney's additions) or the rumored but not official (need a trailer for me to consider it official, lol) sequel that would be coming semi-soon. Again, great video and please keep going! I miss the EU lore most of all with the sequel trilogy although I personally enjoyed them.
