@@holemajora598 Just seemed to drop the ball on Luke, the Emperor was brought back as damage control, Snoke amounted to nothing, the Asian chic was useless for seeming diversity reasons, and where are the characters and/or their impact from the live action series? Luke’s lack of appearance, and his death ruined it. They wanted to reboot with a female while ditching Luke and his dad. The centers of the other movies. Expect the next movie to be more damage control.

Not bad. I do not think this pitch quite ties the prequels together all the way to the sequels In order to explain the balance of the force - you have to go super cosmic - you have to have a battle on the spiritual plane like Lucas talked about Ahsoka was around in 2015 She is a good window into the cosmic side of the force, but you can also use Rey. In order to tie it all together- i feel you MUST address the relationship between the midichlorians and the whils You have to show this relationship- and not tell about it The best way to accomplish this is to use reincarnation mythology Very similar to the Avatar of Avatar the Last air bender Where Rey = Anakin as chosen one Different individuals in a series of connected souls Through the Whils and concieved of midichlorians

Ngl I like the idea that George Lucas had for the final trilogy but the one you presented was well done and thought out. It's crazy that I've watched or read so many other ideas just random people came uo with for the last trilogy and 95% of the ideas were way better than what Disney churned out. It all just sucks because we could have had decades of new stories and characters for Star Wars but instead Disney drove the franchise into the ground. Disney was literally handed a money printer with decades of already written a d even storyboarded stories that could have been used for movies or streaming series but instead we got a bunch of unoriginal fan fiction passed off as star Wars canon.

I wish that the next movie would have a scene where someone wakes Rey or any Star Wars character up from a dream/nightmare, and he/she replies that the whole sequel was just a dream... Therefore it never happened. They can have a fresh start with the sequel.

It’s actually a brilliant concept. The idea of a protagonist having an arc that’s not ‘forced’ or being a ‘Mary Sue’ would be amazing. Just a frustration that we had to see what was wrong before we can understand what’s right

I don’t think the problem with the sequels was that they went the wrong direction. The problem was they failed to go ANY direction. Finn being a former stormtrooper, Luke a broken cynical man, Rey and Kylo swapping stereotypes (a mentally weak villain struggling with the pull to the light side against a seemingly invincible hero), all of that could have been awesome if followed through.

I really like the rewrite that Ryan envisions. The sequels need A LOT of help and Ray's background is so confusing. And Ben/Kylo deserved better. And Pow and Finn get pushed to the background as characters after being a huge part of The Force Awakens

What you have put forward is so, so, so much better than what we got. Unfortunately, we needed the sequels to exist to get there. Admittedly, the bar was set extremely low, but this would make a great trilogy, and might even have people actually care about the new characters from the sequels. Fantastic ideas. You and your team should write it up, and make some fan films (or perhaps collaborate with some other KZbinrs who already make them?). It could even be marketed to Lucasfilm as an “Elseworlds”-type of sequel trilogy. It could be produced on a (Star Wars) TV budget, and would make them a small fortune in the cinemas. Heck, I would even accept it as novels, audio, or comic. I would pay good money to see this, and it would be my “canon” for the entire Skywalker saga. Just because something players out in an alternate universe, doesn’t mean it isn’t real for the inhabitants of that universe… :) Cheers,

I want this... Please write the damn thing. Like now, do you need anything, like paper, pens? I do want some romance though, more than just Han and Leia. Maybe, we could have Rey and Ben as a romantic relationship this way, and not have people threaten others with their deaths because they like the possibility. Adam and Daisy had such amazing chemistry. I really think that could work. Such excellent work with Canon and Legends. This would have crushed. Love this!!

This was a really great concept. I'm actually doing a version of the sequel trilogies Myself, And I really enjoyed the way you had found the concept for the whole trilogy altogether instead of how Disney did it when they just piece movies together without really connecting them and making it scrambled. For mine, I'm going to start in the middle between. Return of the jedi, and the force awakens and set up everything for my trilogy before making the triolgy is there. Until then, I enjoyed what you put out there. And I really hope you guys put more of this into the future. Because the concept was really really cool

Same, I am actually making a scifi inspired story, mainly inspired by Star Wars, & I was going to combine Legends & Lucas' original plan, but instead of Japanese, US, Vietnam, & Iraq inspirations, mine is inspired by native American ones. But I am also going to make a Star Wars sequel trilogy video by using LEGO Skywalker Saga & Battlefront 2, which is what I'm doing here now lol, the Bullets & Blockbusters what-couldve-been Sequel trilogy mentioned Darth Talon seducing Leia & Han's son Skylar, I invision him to be directly like Jacen Solo/Darth Cadeus. I think that's Dave is attempting with the shows. He even introduced an aspect that could cause the sequels to be retconned. Ray Stevenson dying may have put that plan on hold unfortunately. He was the best original character they've had in quite a while.

Since Emperor Palpatine wasn’t destroyed at the end of Episode VI it’s obvious that he used his dark force powers to create the next trilogy of movies. This gives us all the chance to practice not succumbing to hatred or fear. But yeah, those movies suck something spectacular. Awful!

On paper the idea the sequels had weren’t that bad. Luke training palpatines granddaughter to ultimately defeat palpatine himself isn’t a bad idea. Rey should of been revealed to be palps granddaughter when she was in the darkside cave in last Jedi. Palpatine should of just been an evil force ghost to stubborn to die corrupting Ben solo

For Ben Skywalker to have the last name Skywalker, Han could mention that he doesn't have a real last name. Solo is just a nickname that stuck so Leia suggests "How about Ben Organa Skywalker"

That was pretty cool. The Idea of bringing the legacy of the prequels and originals makes sense since it builds from them. The backround add up to each character, Ben and Fin their family and Rey having no one to follow or drift away. I am actually quite inspired and exited if you decide to move foward. A book or Audio would be great. Well, 3 books.

I like the idea. there's a little muddling that I think might be too convoluted for a sequel trilogy, mostly around the back and forth of motives. to springboard off of this, I would put Ep VII as establishing the characters and the premise, Ep VIII would put things into action in the first half then face turn for Finn and Ben in the second half, Ep IX would be obvious climax and wrapping up the entire ennealogy (I had to look that word up for trilogy x 3 lol)
