What gauge wire do you run to the battery?

I work on one just like this today. When you hit the switch for up the valve clicked. But no motor, so if jump the switch terminal and battery terminal the motor came on . Now the up switch will work.

How about liftgate thats stuck up? Thats the problem I'm having. I have to play with it for about 20-30 min before it comes down. It never goes straight down. It stops. Start over and over

Unscrew the dhollandia orange lift thing, apply pressure till the green things make contacy
