Good job fellow batallion! I was thinking of taking the wheel caps off instead of taking the wheels off.

I read on the gtr manual that noise ocurrs when its cold or you make your first turn left or right when you turn your car on not sure if only in cold weather onky amd its normal .is it the same click? Also what does the nut you tighten actually do for safety? When the brake amd the discs are held by 5 nuts?

It holds the axel to the hub. For my temp doesn't make a difference

The gtr's rear diff makes a loud metallic popping noise when it's cold and turning, goes away once everything is at operating temp

@@taingeryes true ..also when u go in reverse it makes a clicking noise...the owners manual has a lot of information when i read it i always realize something new

@@JDArcherso if its not tighten will it fall off ? The whole wheel with the caliper and all?
@JDArcher3 ай бұрын
@ScolarshipBoy1984 no, there is a pin that keeps the axel nut from completely coming off. If it does some how, then the axle can come our, but it think it's highly unlikely to

Do you think using blue loctite would be a good idea?
@JDArcher2 ай бұрын
I probably wouldn't. Just check the torque once a year or when you have your tires off anyway

@JDArcher thank you for your video, I checked mine today and they were completely loose

It is definitely a design flaw. @@tainger

From my research these have to be done yearly on a R35 GT-R. They naturally work loose.
