Do you have a fix around for Serato Video - I'm pretty much running this exactly like your set up but using Serato Video instead of Mix Emergency. I'm finding if I run through my Audient soundcard I'm getting a slight delay on visuals which is driving me BANANAS! I've noticed in Serato Video preferences there is a "delay compensation" section. Would I put 0.23 in there? Thanks again! Great video.

I just put it at 1 as you cannot put decimal points into Serato Vid preferences and it seems to work now wahoo!

@@Avionyx All G! I only just saw your video today! I went into Serato preferences and under expansion packs in Serato Video there is a delay compensation button under the output settings. I set it at 1 and it's seems to do the trick. I've been chatting with my mates at Serato and they advised to use a 3.5mm jack in the Elgato 60s from my master channel but I was having crap audio drop outs. It gave a clean visual feed with no latency but the audio drop outs were killing me. Your video was a god send. Thanks mate. Pretty sure I use some of your videos in my VDJ sets too haha small world!

I tried to elimate my steaming computer and run Serato DJ Pro, OBS and Mix Emergency on my 2018 MacBook Pro. Sound is amazing and dead on. But I do notice my Serato is lagging and the video from mix emergency is lagging. I would think that this machine I paid $6500 cdn for could handle this work load.

Supa but how do you get these numbers (Milliseconds)?

Well theres 1000 milliseconds in 1 second. So half of 1 second is equal to 500 milliseconds. When I was starting out trying to sync the audio and video together, I started with a really slight delay at 100ms then worked my way up until I thought it looked to be on point.

Yes. You can't "push" a source forward like you can for the MixEmergency video. Click the sprocket wheel of your audio input capture source in the audio mixer section and then click Advanced Audio Properties and there's a column to add a delay.

It was trial and error. But the thing is that I realized earlier today actually,, after I've "lined" everything up in OBS Studio just by previewing it, when I'm actually viewing the stream the GoPro is back to being behind.

Your videos help me a lot. I use 2 macbooks connected together by a thunderbolt wire. I also added the NDI plug in. I think it works, but I don't think you can customize the screens and overlays.... i look forward to see your video on eccam live

I'm currently running OBS Camera app on my iPhone 8 Plus, OBS Studio to stream to Twitch, and DJing on Serato DJ Pro all on the same Macbook (mid 2012 running Mojave). The stream seems to be fine, but when I press play on Serato, the audio coming into my headphones is at about a half a beat lag, making it super difficult to beat match without looking at wave forms. And during the stream, the glitches that I'm hearing within the software also stream to the output audio. Any ideas what could be happening?! :-(

Check your latency slider in your Serato settings... the lower number you go, the more unstable things can get. Set it to 10

I've seen that issue several times where what you do on the job wheel is a half beat off from what the waveform is doing. I think that glitch is caused by a bad USB connection.

I have a DJ Controller (Pioneer DDJ-1000) connected which has a mic input. When I use Virtual DJ to stream via mixcloud the mic works perfectly. When I try to use obs with mixcloud and VDJ then the mic mutes the audio but not sound comes out when I speak... any ideas?
