@@farzansheikh1820 had to bring it to an Apple Store, they troubleshot it for 2 hours in front of me.. If I remember correctly when you plug your phone into your pc, in iTunes there is an option to enable voice over. Then you can enable assistive touch and an on screen home button. The actual home button forever doesn’t work unfortunately, I had a new one from an other identical phone but they couldn’t pair it to this phone, I believe that’s a bullshit excuse to sell screens (you have to buy a whole new screen to get a home button)

BS.....Touch ID will ot work with new screen replacement....you need the original button if not broken...this video only promote the software :)

Even if you replace the whole screen it won't work! Because fingerprint sensor or fingerprint ID is programmed and linked with the motherboard, even if u install others working fingerprint home button in the non working fingerprint phone it won't, to make it work you have to replace the motherboard 🤷🏼‍♂️

I had this exact problem and fixed it by resetting my phone to factory original. I dropped it in water, and the touch ID broke. Apple said they could not fix it because of the water damage. Assistive touch let me still use the phone, but it was a hassle without touch ID. I purchased a new phone. Then, when I reset and erased the old broken phone to sell it, voila the touch id started working again! This is a legit fix for me.

yeah so it says that and it won’t let me use the home button either i can’t switch between apps i had to use assistive touch to go in between apps

This video is just as useless as turning off the phone and turn it back on. If touch ID doesn’t work the phone doesn’t have the original home button or the home button scanner is cracked internally. Apple will force you to pay out of warranty done

If your fingerprint works to log on to your phone or anything else it is not the problem of the fingerprint button. It's the App your trying to log onto.

If your home button is still working but Touch ID is not Go into setting sign out of iTunes restart phone then log back into iTunes

Press the side (right) button until it powers off the phone , press it again to turn on the phone. It will ask your numerical password then you can go to settings and turn on the on screen home button
