Can you do more video on IPhone SE problem such as blank screen and it won’t charging the battery after changing damaged main screen . And also the home button is not working since I have the technician fixed and now they said it is the mother board is damaged????😢😢😢. Is there a chance when they are changing the screen incorrectly and it quit working???

I had my screen replaced after the people trying to fix my aux port broke it, after I got it back the home button is shot. I remember being so upset and this was back in November. Touch ID still works somewhat but I still have to press pretty hard to make it recognize anything. That little button on my screen that makes shortcuts for home button has saved my life (I forgot what it’s called).

I believe I ripped the connector off the iPad 8 trying to disconnect the home button from the iPad circuit board. Does that happen very often? I can’t reconnect it… there is nothing to pop it into just a couple of metal prongs.

Thank you! You saved me a lot of heartache and time because I was about to tear apart my phone for no reason. I just replaced my back glass on my iPhone SE, and the final step before applying the glass was a wipe down with isopropyl alcohol. I barely got the cloth wet and maybe was too aggressive towards the bottom of the phone. It didn't take much to waterlog my home button, maybe just a coating. After I put the glass on, I couldn't get the home button to work, other than unlocking and dropping the screen halfway. I immediately searched online and your vid was first up. I was lucky to peel the glass off since the adhesive didn't cure. I placed the bottom of the phone under a fan, after about 20 min the home button works. Would the same issues prevent the earpiece speaker from working? I can hear calls on speaker phone but not in regular mode. Callers can hear me in both modes. I’ve tried many of the online tips to no success. I’m worried I overheated something during the removal of the back glass. Any tips? Thanks!

I was in the same situatin with 8Plus, no ear speaker after screen replacement, cameras worked fine. What is worked for me is to change the front camera ribbon cable. I was carefull at the removal of the original cable, there was no visible damage on it. Inspite of this it was damaged beause of installing a new ribbon solved the problem. I was lucky because the cable is cheap for 8plus, I am not sure about the SE2020. Good luck.

Okay but I haven’t used any liquid on my iPhone 7 to remove the home button. I haven’t damaged anything to my understanding. I have changed my screen 3 times. Every feature had worked. (Siri, return to home, Touch ID) with the clicking of the button. How ever, I’ve changed my screen since, again no liquid to help, no damage. Everything works. Touch ID, Siri, return to home. The button just doesn’t click(vibrate). So what is the cause to this problem. And how am I able to fix it?

Hi can you please help me? My Ipad7 Screen broke and I got a replacement with a new home button. When I installed it and power it on, the the iPad keeps inputting the pass code by itself until the iPad locks me out for a day. When I go back and power it on, it does the same thing again and says it can’t communicate with the home button and I should go to iTune. I tried changing the home button but it does the same thing.

Just use a heat mat or hair dryer for a bit, just a little then use a nice even plastic spudger to very slowly press under the connector then use a bit more heat of there is resistance Never used liquid to remove a part off of a screen before and repaired a hundred phones
@arc19123 жыл бұрын
Today I teach you how to never have that problem, use heat not alcohol, a liquid can run under the display & stain the light scatter films which is why you apply a little heat and lift gently with a flat tool. Voila

My iphone 7 home button is not working at all no go back no double tap. But the thing is it still recognizes my finger print and unlocks the phone. And i actually did a little bit of research and found that the problem was the chip called - U10 - on the home button. Which means i have to replace it with a new U10 chip. But what i wanna know is if i take a chip from another home button and replace it to mine will it work ? or if i replace the old screen will it work ? Any ideas about this ? Update: Placing the original display doesn't work still the same. Funny i tried blowing the home button and now finger failed. XD i think im gonna get my self a new iphone 7. So you're not even gonna mention anything about Touch ID not working with aftermarket screens at all; or logic boards (unless the button is paired with the new logic board with the help of a special device)?
@tomoliveri81683 жыл бұрын
Not what this video is about.
@profixerr62753 жыл бұрын
The home button and touch id function work 100% with aftermarket screens. This video is solely for the 'water log' issue created by iso during the home button removal causing the 'click' to temporarily stop working.
@VH-vlogs2 жыл бұрын
I dont see why would that be relevant as the screen does not affect the touchID, the botton and the screen are totally separate and one does not make the other one stop working, only the dumb people belive that.
