Good video. Thanks. When you use the trim tool could you not use the Auto Join check box. Not sure if it would save any steps.

Good point, that would have removed the merging process 👍

Does the free trail include the foxalien 4040xe
@SethCNC5 ай бұрын
Free 90 day trial is the same as the paid version, so yes, use "grbl" post processor for your foxalien cnc 👍

How do you zoom in ?
@SethCNC2 ай бұрын
@Chris-vc1dh easy way is shift (or ctrl I forget which) and the mouse wheel.. Or use the button at the top right to change from selector to zoom, but you gotta keep changing back and forth, so use a mouse with scroll wheel

@@SethCNC thanks, just trying to play with my 6050 as inlays interested me a lot, if I put object in the middle of material in car eco should it be in the middle in open builds too?
@SethCNC2 ай бұрын
@Chris-vc1dh the gcode and thus openbuilds display will only include the toolpath. So if you used center ad x,y zero point then the design will be centered in openbuilds, but if you used a corner for example then no, the toolpath Will start and finish at that corner, thus including that within the toolpath while the opposite corner will be omitted from the toolpath... causing openbuilds to show offset and not show that other portion as it is irrelevant since the tool will never travel over there
