How to Fix Webbed, Wet Frizz when Styling

Do you notice a lot of webbed, wet frizz when you're styling? This is likely due to:
➰ NOT ENOUGH WATER ➰
Your products should be applied to wet hair, not hair that is starting to dry. I prefer to style damp which just means I use a hair towel to absorb a bit of water at my roots but then I spritz the lengths with water before I apply products.
➰ TANGLES ➰
I don't recommend simply scrunching in some product straight out of the shower because you're leaving so much webbing in the inner layers. Instead, try sectioning your hair, combing your products through, then scrunching.
➰ LACK OF HOLD ➰
If your gel is not drying with a crunch, or if your hair frizzes up the second you scrunch out the crunch, then your gel isn't strong enough hold. Opt for a strong hold gel and apply it liberally.

is there any way to control the frizz even without any products such as gel? my hair is still super frizzy while its even soaking wet in the shower

I try avoiding using towels and use a tshjrt instead to help not create extra frizz. Air drying helps too. Sadly I don't think any curly head can wash their hair and not have frizz. The clumping of the curl usually requires something with a hold to hold the hair strands together . I would seek a consultation at a salon. Sometimes uncontrollable frizz is an indicator your hair may be in a need of a trim.

I wet my curly hair in the shower everyday, detangle in shower, wrap hair in microfibre turban, get dressed, take turban off, mist hair all over with spray bottle, apply a curl definer or mousse or leave in conditioner, comb through, flip hair from side to side while hover diffusing. This is what I do everyday. I only use one product and do not layer products. I also do section hair and do not do the ridiculous scrunch technique.
