You fixed a slightly different issue for me! Thanks! My problem was that any new Quick Access folder entries would jump from where I dragged them, usually to a location between 3 and 10 spots upward. I drag over a folder, let go and it immediately pops upward to land somewhere higher in the Quick Access list. I would have to drag it lower in the Quick Access area and hope it jumped up into the right spot, else I would repeat this until it landed where I wanted. After deleting the items in the destination folders you linked, then replacing all my Quick Access entries (using a screenshot to remember what they were), all folders I drag over seem to stay where I put them now.

This worked perfect, thank you. Had a Quick Access pin that was pointing at a location which no longer existed and whenever I tried to remove it via right-clicking on the pin in file explorer, it would cause the window to become unresponsive. Deleting it from CustomDestinations did the trick.

This is a nice fix. I have a different problem. Perhaps you know how to fix it? I am constantly switching among many folders. However, until I open a file or folder 4 times, it does not appear in Quick Access (Windows 10). Alternatively, if you wait a little while, say maybe 10-15 minutes, after opening a folder, it will appear in Quick Access. Somewhere in the registry there must be a value which says to add a folder to Quick Access once it's been accessed 4 times (it nearly always appears in Quick Access after opening the folder the 4th time), or there must be a value which says to wait until a certain number of seconds have passed before adding it to the Quick Access folder. I simply want to change either or both of those values to Quick Access regains the "quickness" we once had with previous versions of Windows. Tell me you know where to find it!!!!!! :-)))
