all you had to do is plug the new headphones in and if they work try the old ones again and it should work, well that’s what i did and it works, thank you a lot i’ve been trying to fix it for days and you helped me and i didn’t even have to buy a new pair i just had to use a old pair that chat mixer worked for but you couldn’t talk through it and then use the other ones that you could talk out of and it just worked, thank you once again “not all hero’s wear capes” i really look up to you now

No problem if it continues you may have to upgrade to some turtle Beaches or go wireless I also had to change my controller at one point but it came from me dropping it as well The headphone jack is not soldered on very well either but a longer three-point millimeter headphone jack definitely should work in the metal will be touching Glad I could help

That's not the case always, was having it could be a #of things, most common issues, cheap headphones, and just a slow insert of the aux to your headset, probably best method to fix, right out the box, my chat mixer is greyd out, pulling the aux out and re-enter slow about five times and it work, tried my old faithful headphones/not cheap, issue fixed
