The early throttle feather is critical for making it work on underpowered 3" stuff, especially for big dives. That is the technique, applies to freestyle and racing.

bro you can't talk about how to eliminate propwash when you cannot even demonstrate a proper propwash. my cine bubbles try crazy
@MUNKYFPV4 жыл бұрын
Good tips man 👍😎As you say throttle flying clean is the ultimate way to reduce propwash, as you just demonstrated it's actually difficult to deliberately induce propwash on a clean quad once you've trained yourself to fly in a way that avoids it 😂 I've found the easiest way for me to induce propwash for tuning is to do a 180 degree flat yaw turn while going fast (cutting throttle) then pitch forward and throttle hard into the turbulent air I just created. Your setup is going to handle propwash so well on S3 props you'll probably find even that move only gives you a little bobble rather than full on oscillations 👊
@JustInvertedFpv4 жыл бұрын
I think feathering in a little early like that helps because you are still at a pretty steep angle when you start feathering it in so you begin to generate a thrust vector that's more behind you instead of directly below you. It's always coming in too flat at the bottom that gives a lot of prop wash. So I agree!

There are many other things besides these three. D shot idle dynamic idle d_min d max low i looses attitude and response. Rpm filtration set up strip back dynamic notch to reduce phase delay. Tpa over attenuation of pids at low throttle looses attitude reducing filtration further to allow more cpu disabling accelerometer baro ect. Get that cpu down. Share some of your settings and how you came by them thats the meat in the sandwich that other folk crave. But also great vids man love your chilled’ness as it comes across. I have a brand new geprc mark4 4K. It’s a 6s 1850kv weighs 622 grams rtf. I have ethic S2, S3, S4, and the stock 5043 props. Tried several props, lol. But no matter what I do it has a horrible throttle oscillation. It’ll dip sometimes. Flutter. Make jello in fpv feed. Even flip sometimes. And it’ll sound like it’s hitting things but it isn’t as there’s nothing to it. Ramp throttle up really fast for a power loop or punch out and it’ll sound horrible. Ease into it about 60% max an it’s awesome. Tune is decent as I’ve started over a few times. I have rpm filtering on. Tried it off. Tried esc tuning. Had others help me tune but it isn’t right. Motors were super hot from factory with horrible fluttering. Now they are 100* after 6-7 min freestyle at no more than 60% throttle and it’ll fly amazing. Any ideas or help? I’m open to any help at all from anywhere at this point

VIK FPV brand new? The amps for each are relatively the same. Maybe .5 amp variance between all 4. Starting with the motors as you suggested. Thank you for the advice and replying!!! Keep up the awesome content!!! It really helps folks like me learn by sight and hearing what’s going on.

I just starting using a little throttle coming out of split s and power loops. My question is do u happen to know what causes throttle jerks on tight turns? So when I make a tight turns and give it a good amount of throttle on my 3” 3s 1105 5k quad it tends to jerk hard almost like a car racing when they come off the line when u punch it, jerks in one direction then grabs the air and goes.
@VIKFPV4 жыл бұрын
David FPV that might be a tuning issue. Try lowering I gain

Great video Vik! It is hard for a pro to demonstrate beginner mistakes 😉. You could refer them to my channel to see some wrong throttle management! Lol 😂 I have a 3 inch DJI Cinewhoop, where I removed the ducts and added new props. It can freestyle quite well but pilot error is definitely a factor and I think it is trickier with 3 inch lacking the power and bigger props.
