@@NSC-Modz Successfully updated this morning. Thanks again man! Honestly the first good explanation of this process which is pretty daunting with these old boards. MSI's instructions leave much t be desired, were confusing and not entirely accurate. I guess with these old boards they JDAF about providing help. Also how to make a bootable dos USB, I didnt realize you had to have a boot files in there but of course it now seems obvious lol. Anyway, computers running great, unfortunately didn't resolve my issue of a GPU not initializing. Its a 3050 RTX and the board is a MSI 7673. From around 2010. Most likely came the card came in DOA or is just not compatible period, though it should work in any PCI-e equipped machine...theoretically. Still haven't given up on it but I wanted extinguish every possible avenue on my end before declaring it DOA. Its got a B2 error. Basically the card is not initializing. Its running, but not really connecting to the computer. It just displays...B2. My old card works fine so it not the slot. BIOS was one of the possible culprits, but it looks like its not the issue. Still looking at a few things with it though.

Question, the afudos works with all the mothers?? I did this process making a bootable pendrive with prepusb and I did all correctly, but now I have a Biostar m7vig ProD to update bios.. and probably that afudos will be useful? I could try. Another question: that bios gets Cmos error everytime a game fails or something happens and windows doesnt start, my keyboard also doesnt work when this happens, so I have to take te battery out, put the battery again, setup the bios to not recognise a Floppy unit, and this process sucks, that's why I am trying to update the bios. The question is, Is there a way to freeze the bios so there are not cmos errors? I mean it is not normal, all my other PCs tilt and restart normally.. the bios shouldnt get disconfigurated everytime a windows error happens, right? It is an old PC with Windows XP by the way.

Don't try that on Win 10, it always makes some problems to create a bootable USB Stick. Use Win7 or XP

Thank you, i was able to upgrade the bios for my H55H M v1.1 ecs but unfortunally it didnt fix my Shutdown problems, after i shutdown the PC the screen goes black but the pc wont shutdown totally, the FANS still working at 100% noisy, have to manually switch off the power source, i did every solution i found on internet and updating the bios was the last move, i think the motherboard may be faulty.

Good morning, sorry to bother you, but I have seen that you are an electronics specialist and I was wondering if you could give me some solution. I have a Sindoh 3D 3DWOX 3D printer and when I inserted a USB flash drive to update the firmware, there was a power outage. Now only the Sindoh presentation screen is displayed and the image is frozen there. I have disconnected the printer from the power and even removed the internal battery from the motherboard but it remains the same. There is no way it does anything. It has been left frozen. I'm afraid the firmware has become corrupt. I have observed that the motherboard has some jumpers, I don't know if any of them have any use. Can you help me please? Any suggestions to force flashing the firmware? How can I find out which chip on the printer's motherboard is the EEPROM? Thank you very much in advance.

Hello It's like you say, the firmware has done something bad to the chip. It's called a Softbrick... Next steps for you gonna be probably very difficult. You can open it, and try to find a small battery, if there is one, take it off for about 5 min. and try the flash process again. Other thing is, find the right chip, you will need to soldered it out, get a USB Bios flasher like on my videos, and flash the firmware with the USB Bios flasher. Other question is also, if you can get the .bin or .rom file, because such upgrades are mostly .exe files which needs to be flashed over windows. The other thing that people's don't know, it's always better to use Win 7 for that kinda work. Win 10 or 11 always will be a bit risky. Working on 3D, or flashing stuff, always recommend to use Win7. If the 3D comes with Win 10 software, than it's maybe ok. Otherwise also Win7 still.

It conforms if the mem timings are set right and use on max 800mhz rams on this board. The rest you need to find out your self, step by step ;)

Then I tried to copy those two BIOS update file but Rufus made a total 1.6 MB bootable pendrive with only around 200 kb of free space. So I did not get to copy. I am stuck. How did you made it. Hey man! Problem solved! After a long day fighting! Let me tell you how did I solved my problem. I made a bootable USB of Win98 boot disk. As I have earlier said that there was not enough space to copy the firmware files after making the bootable usb. So what I did was deleted the DOS application files, only kept the main functional system files to run DOS just to access the BIOS firmware files. Then It booted with no problem and I did watching your video as you did. And it worked!!!! Thank you for all these help man! I really appreciate your work! Recently I have replaced my old Dual Core CPU with Core 2 Duo. But the computer won't shut down. Then I get to know that I need to update my BIOS for newer CPU. SO YES! SUCCESSFUL!
