Yes, they don't understand, and while it's important for us to see exactly how it should be done, he takes the time throughout the process to reassure and use caring gestures on the goat to show they've not done anything wrong, this is a one-time deal of sorts. @corvidconfidential88263 жыл бұрын
@@damianmorningstar3150 so, a kid messed with you and picked a fight, you fought back, and in return your father whipped you? Jeez, that's not very good parenting. My mother taught me how to fight, block, etc. But after teaching basics, made sure I was moreso taught how to avoid them and to do it in defense. She just asked that I don't pick or start fights, but always finish them. Granted, I'm from CA where they punish both parties, even suspending both kids when a bully beats one up, so I always thought I would get in trouble, so ehh.... didn't get to use the knowledge very much....still, I hope after your fight that the kid never touched your milk again. ^~^
@KeiosKod3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that’s terrible. That just says that he was more concerned with having possibly shamed in public over his own child. There’s nothing wrong with defending yourself from bullies. Screw adults who say otherwise, especially the teachers who never handle it and just mete out punishment to all or, worse, just to the student who was acting in self-defense. No matter what the cartoons and movies try to tell you, teachers aren’t reasonable authority figures you can go to for your problems. Heck, this should be eminently obvious assuming you’re an adult yourself now, working with other people.
@nephatrine3 жыл бұрын
@@KeiosKod Self-defense should be only what is needed to stave off the attacker - even as an adult there can be consequences if you defend yourself using more force than the attacker. A milk carton being poured onto you barely counts as an attack and so initiating physical combat is hardly a proportional response much less a necessary one.
@KeiosKod3 жыл бұрын
@@nephatrine I disagree here. A pacifistic response won’t protect a kid in school, let’s be realistic. Physically fighting back to that kind of thing is what wards off further bullying attempts. I’m not saying a kid should beat the teeth out of their bullies, but some pummeling is definitely needed. Being patient or asking a teacher for help won’t produce any real, tangible results. The latter especially, since they’d just give the same advice you’re saying and have the kid bear with it and the bully getting what’s tantamount to a slap on the wrist, if anything.

The goat I was rewarding was cool, the other goat was flaring nostrils and huffing and puffing. Well this morning was the first time I've ever flipped the goat. I did it exactly like you said to do it and I was blown away! It worked!😅 my goat was laying on his back upside-down I stood over him and yelled and his face and said no no no! I walked away from him he's slowly got up and looked at me very perplexed and then he just stood there looking broken hearted. LOL I felt bad for him and then I walked away and he walked behind me calling me as to say I'm sorry. Then I stopped and petted him on the back told him good boy and then he has to behave well for the next few hours he was perfect gentleman. We'll see what happens tomorrow. But thank you for the great advice😊😊😊
