Getting airborne in MSFS is easy, but flying all the phases of flight to your arrival airport in a smooth and effortless way requires a bit more knowledge about the airplane. In this video, you'll learn the technique I use to discover how to fly any airplane in the game more smoothly across all phases of flight, from takeoff to landing.
Check out the previous video in this series: • How to learn any plane...

Great tips. I'm no pilot but I believe two Google search terms may be useful to help memorise the steps needed during a climb and descent. These terms are P.A.T for Power, Attitude, Trim (for a climb) as well as A.P.T for Attitude, Power, Trim for descents.

Can you help clarify how to interpret the two different values in "2300 @ 1900 RPM"? Is the engine set to one of these but actually producing the other value because of load, gearing or...? Enjoying your videos. Thanks for taking the effort to make those.

It's a short hand I use to say I need to set the power (lb-ft) to 2300, and the RPM at 1900. Those numbers are specific for the Cessna 208 though.

@@FlightSimSchool Ah, perhaps not meaningful for the Cessna 152 and 172 I practise with (non turbo-props) then. That might be why I was confused...
@FlightSimSchool
@FlightSimSchool 2 жыл бұрын
@@henrikolsen5 Yep, for the 152 and 172 you really only need to specify the RPM for each phase of flight since neither has a propeller controller

I seem to be losing airspeed while cruising, nd i'm a starter. Is there any pro tips to prevent this?

How much airspeed are we talking about? Are you changing the throttle or prop controls in cruise?

Do you have a google drive doc or something with all of the tables you have created already?

I’ve been meaning to do this for awhile but never got around to it. Is there a plane in particular you’re looking for?

@@FlightSimSchool Honestly, All of the most common ones: Cessna 152/172, Savage Cub, X Cub, NXCub etc. A community one would be cool then some paid for planes could be added like my favorite: The Husky

bro,sory newbee I want to ask what the mean is pitch 7,5 and pitch 0,5 to pitch -2 ? sory my bad english

No worries! If you look at the attitude indicator, you'll notice there are horizontal lines at, above and below the horizon. 0 degrees would on the horizon, and each line above or below represents 2.5 degrees, so if I want to fly the airplane at a pitch 7.5 degrees, I need to put it on the small horizontal line between the 5 and 10 degree lines.
