Nate i have a question for you, I'm 14 and live with my mother she isnt diagnosed with narcissist disorder but she does all the things u mentioed and i kept falling into this cycle with her. How can i heal when i live with the person who I'm in a narcissistic relationship if I'm even allowed to call it that?

First give up the idea of what a parent is and should be doing. A parent should be a place of comfort guidance love but thats the problem u get that in breadcrumbs with a narc parent. So just start to look at them for who they are not who u want them to be. U get a job asap and save up to move out. Do side jobs if u r a little kid ask to rake leaves or something. Just might need to survive for now thats the worst part its difficult to heal bc it requires things like walk away, set boundaries, taking time for yourself to do something u enjoy. They know when u r breaking free and can manipulate you mentally emotionally physically so trust your instincts dont focus on the breadcrumbs of love and then feel sorry for the narc or trust them again. Its difficult but truly just plan on moving out. If parent takes the money u earn then u r in a very dangerous situation and might need to hide half the profit. And always keep your head up and dont ever touch drugs and be careful w alcohol. Dont fall into vices bc then the evil narc wins. U focus on goals and success and freedom
