I give them lettuce and my own vitamin capsules dissolved in water 😅 aside other green veggies. Snail doctor. 😅 By God's grace they are active and healthy but they are pompous and love lettuce more than other veggies so I have to spend on lettuce 😅. I don't know if my snails are European snails 😅😅😅. I got them (50+) from the garden and migrated them to new shelters. I have to get a seller who makes omelette for free egg shells. Good idea! Thanks!

Very quickly.. do I need to mix the powder with water or I serve my snails directly? Also, can I rare or farm with the snails pick up in the bush for my consumption? I'm 63 and I do farming in my empty fenced land near my house. There are lots of snails in the farm which I have been ignoring before now but I had to pick them up this raining season and I have over 400 in two pens. Your response will be highly appreciated! Thanks for watching, You can mix the calcium with little water before giving it to the snails for easy assimilation. Yes, you can rear snails that were picked from the bush but also know that so many snails that are found within the garden aren't good enough for commercial snail farming.

If you have started already then that shouldn't be a problem for you. My advice is that if you don't know how to formulate their feed yet, just be feeding them with their natural food with the combination of calcium you wouldn't encounter any casualties. Then you can then learn how to formulate yours or better still buy from other snail farmers who formulate.
