Lauren you are the best teacher ever. I was so stuck. I went back to the basics with you and learned some song's with your instruction....picked up on the easy c chord to apply to some of my songs and it's really fun. I've improved in three days. My next challenge is grabbing that Bm chord. Thank you I'll meet you I'm the inter medizate courses.

I love your lesson you explain things well, could you please play a little bit of the song first so I can get an idea of the song first and then explain. This would help me a lot. :-)

Would love to but KZbin hits us with copyright and will sometimes block our entire lesson from being shown. I no longer sing or 'perform' songs after spending hours making a lesson and having it completely blocked by the copyright holders.

Hi Lauren love your lessons!! Fantastic, but I have a question on fortunate son chorus part you show the chords as G,D,C, D. Shouldn’t it be c,d,c G?????
@LaurenBateman3 жыл бұрын
That's what I have in my chord chart.....G D C D so it should work. Unless I wrote it out wrong. But I'm pretty sure that's right.

You know I'm a John Fogerty fan. Classic intro... I love this song...🎶 And the Red White and Blue! 🇺🇸 I'm diggin the new tab 🎼🔺graphic too... Lesson terminology; syncopated rhythm = noun. Music. a shifting of the normal accent, usually by stressing the normally unaccented beats. something, as a rhythm or a passage of music, that is syncopated. 📌 Always practicing... Thanks Teach...🍎

Why yes the vids still up. Your good and another invaluable lesson as always. So Lauren, HI! It’s been awhile, I’ve been finishing up on my Pandemic song finalizing the chord progressions, tell you more on that at a different time. Keeping up on your vids and liked the Beatles tutorial of when I’m sixty four vid, honestly, never tackled that song, so thank you. And I requested before, if you can,make a tutorial of Here there and everywhere, that Beatles tune is so cool and romanticized, I’m sure you would agree as some viewers probably would agree as well. Question for you... When are you going to whip out the Electric Ax off that wall and plug it to your amp and do some Guitar Lead, soloing and just rock it out! It doesn’t have to be a tutorial by any means, I’d love to hear you jam it out and I’m sure the viewers would as well. I remember the other tutorial you did not quite certain on which song it was at the time, but you did say, there’s a Guitar lead there, but you said that’s for another video, LOL. So you think you can produce? Not pressuring you by any means, but it would be really cool! Anyway hope Thanksgiving was proper,due to what we all are going through. Stay well my friend you Rock!

Hey Kevin, thanks for much. I haven't done a lot of electric guitar work on this channel yet. I may need to bust it out for something. We will see ;) I don't have a chord chart worked up yet for that Beatles songs. I have lots of songs in the works right now so I'm working through my list as fast as possible but it does take time.

@@LaurenBateman I have been quietly following your videos trying to learn the songs and techniques you teach. Thanks so much for that. I wanted to ask, you bring up a really cool point in your response above, "I don't have a chord chart worked up yet for that Beatles song". Do you think maybe you could do a video of HOW you come up with the easier chords and strumming patterns for the songs you do? Maybe record yourself doing exactly that for an upcoming song lesson? I cannot speak for everyone, but I know I would find a video like that very interesting. Thanks again and I look forward to continued learning with you.

Um, hmmm. Every version I find has the 4th fret. 🤷♀️ Guess all the guitar teachers and Hal Leonard books are wrong.

@@LaurenBateman Have you tried to play it without the 4th fret, also i can't remember seeing Duane Eddy play the 4th fret.
