HOW TO: Fox body Fog Light Mod with LED Fog Light Bulbs // AKA: MEAN LIGHTS

In this episode I instal LED fog light bulbs in my 1991 Ford Fox body Mustang GT Convertible 5.0. I also show you how to easily make it so you can use your fog lights independently of your headlight switch. From the factory, Ford designed the fog light circuit so you could only use your fog lights while your headlights were turned on and in the low beam position. This fog light modification makes it so you can turn your fog lights on independently of your headlight switch so you can use just your fog lights (with no headlights), fog lights and marker lights, or fog lights with both low beam AND/OR high beam headlights.

Love the LED fog lights and headlights… you should add led lights to the vert dome light rear view mirror…. I did it in mine… added a vert mirror years ago in the 90’s…. The sunroof dome light was wasn’t very bright… the vert mirror was a nice upgrade with the sunroof dome light

I think Factory they came with a 55 watt H3 I now have 100 watt H3... no issues... triple bright... and also what helps keep them nice and bright is when you pull them out to change the bulbs... don't put the glass side down face down without a cloth... it will scratch the lens up... and restrict some of the light.. just a little cloth put down first LOL helps the health of the lens

Yes - just cut off the butt connector and ad a blade connector 👍

Deadly, me too! Have you had any issues with light flickering with these LED's? Dealership told me that they stopped selling the LEDS for the fog lights they carried due to too many complaints about flickering.

The only different is the Canadian cars come with a DRL module. The American cars have the plug but no module 👍

It was the led polarity… blowed few fuses and then I decided to switched the wires and they worked… Thanks for the reply and thanks for all the great vid… I highly enjoyed your content
