Merci for the video! I actually have 2 self employment businesses in the UK, one is an IT Consultancy and one is an business making craft items and selling online. I am also a musician, so am finding it difficult to decide what to do. I have watched the artist video and I think Micro Entrepeneur is the way to go but how would it work with both of my freelance businesses and my music as well? Do I have to choose?

@MinkiMalkin I would start with a Micro Entrepreneur including both the IT consultancy and craft online. You will split it between a primary and secondary activity. I would then wait to register the artist activity later on, as it's a complete different set up in France? Set up you business and your health cover, then start looking into the artistic income.

@KelechiKelechi-sb7qu the Micro Entrepreneur is still best to test your market. But just remember that you will be taxed at 12.3% of your sales and not profit. If your total expenses (running expenses + social charges) are below 71% of your turnover that fine. If it's above, it's not worth it.

Bonjour @alexivanova0509 selling apps online or digital products are seen as professional libérale, as there is no physical product. I would describe it as "vente en ligne d'applications pour portables". The POD is different because this time it's a physical product, related to photography . You could register both as a micro entrepreneur to start with. And I would describe 2 activities: "activé principale" the apps and "activité secondaire" the POD. You register both under the same business.

@stephanandsandra this is a tricky one! Design in general tends to be profession libérale, but calligraphy entails a manual activity. If you describe it as "Graphiste, calligraphie, ateliers et course de calligraphie" you should be profession liberale.

@ruimartins8601 there is no VAT until you reach 36,800€/year. Above that you will need to request your VAT number, but this is B2B services, it will be reverse-charge (i.e no VAT charged and up to your customer to clear it in Portugal).

Was your gite declared as business or a non professional LMNP. If it's the LMNP, you can't just add your YT income. The YT income could be declared as a Micro Entrepreneur.

Hello @louisathorslund5097 there is no minimum income for the micro entrepreneur scheme. When we talk about income objectives, it's more for carte de sejour entrepreneur or visa Talent renewal. If you are the spouse of a European citizen for your carte de sejour, this wouldn't impact you.

The question is which kind of titre de sejour do you currently have? If you have a carte de sejour entrepreneur, you need to aim for an income (or saving) equivalent to the minimum wage in France(SMIC) or 1383€ net/month in 2023. If you are a spouse of a European citizen vise vie privee et famille, this wouldn't apply

This is a tricky one. It used to be possible, but now INPI looks at business visa or rece student visa. You can try to register ensuring to tick "exercice d'une activité simultanée: oui" and tick "autres: étudiant". That's the only way it may work, i.e if it's seen as a secondary activity.

Photography relates to Chambre de Metiers. It's not regulated, but if it comes first there will be more documents to supply when you do register the business;.
