This series is fire! Taevis, your attention to every little detail and how to explain them is absolutely unmatched by anyone else. I made it into the park yesterday and the first 3 on this series had me jumping so much better and controlled with confidence! So stoked! Keep em coming and keep up the great work.

Agreed. Taevis is a skilled steezy teacher that explains things in a way that’s easy to implement, understand and know your own errors.

Absolutely, I watched so many videos before, but Taevis‘s are next level. I’m already in the train from Germany to Austria. Thanks to Taevis I feel so much more confident to hit my first jumps tomorrow. You rock man… ✌️

Front 1 was a tricky one for me. Your videos are super helpful, especially to see the perfect timing and body alignment.

Saved for next season. Thank you! Although on flats were fine, on kickers I struggled with 180s this season, often guilty of landing on the heels as you showed.

A proper Front 1 is super challenging, it is the hardest landing in snowboarding for a reason! Keep with it and you’ll get it figured out tho💪

@@SnowboardAddiction, I'm glad you mentioned how challenging a front 1 is. I always thought I was crazy for thinking about how scary landing a front 1 is. I've struggled with Front 3s from skipping front 1s, but the more I practice front 1s and cab 1s, the better my front 3s get. Not having that fundamental front 1 take-off makes learning a front 3 super difficult. My cab 3s are so much stronger and were easier to learn because I learned cab 1s first cause the landing is easier. Trick skipper I am.

amazing videos! but that music in the background is driving me crazy...

It is very repetitive now that you point it out haha we will try to make the music less of a distraction in the future videos!

Broke my collarbone trying to do this on a run before I had really dialed it in. Wish this had come out before, ha

That’s too bad! Taevis broke his collarbone a couple years ago, definitely a bummer! Rest up and you will get it next year💪

i recently started hitting huge jumps and i want to start adding spins should i do a massive 180 or just do a 360?
@SnowboardAddiction8 ай бұрын
Just 360 Front 1s are super hard off big jumps! Just make sure your Front 3s have everything in place before trying them on a big jump:)
@CadenC128 ай бұрын
@@SnowboardAddiction okay i’ll have to try it next i go up thanks!
@pinky8827 ай бұрын
What exactly do you mean when you say "shoulder squared off to the jump"? Not having your shoulder open or wound up?
@SnowboardAddiction7 ай бұрын
For a frontside 180 you should be riding up to the jump keeping your body in a stacked (in line with your snowboard) it is not nesacery to wind up or pre rotate for a 180 rotation🙂

What do you guys think is the best feeling Grab on a Front 1? I was really liking Nose, but I’m looking to experiment!
