You missed something that's helped me re learn front tails (when I was much younger I had them on lock like nothing). When I land in it or just as I'm about to, I push my feet like I'm starting a powerslide to begin the slide on the ledge EDIT: also I keep my back foot at a 45 degree angle facing the tail, when I rotate, it tends to help bring the board around

I learned these right after board slides as a kid you gotta picture yourself trying to pop into a front five o but over exaggerate the rotation when you ollie with your shoulders so you lock into the slide instead of a pinch. keep your head over the foot on the ledge till you pop off. if you slip out you need to ollie a little higher so you lock in instead of sliding into a locked position.
@Skateobyou6 жыл бұрын
fuck yeah he's back! lol best tutorials on youtube forreal man i mean that when i say it you address every possible problem that comes with a trick without missing any details hahah and the editing style just puts it all together.. with a voiceover rather than a live video you can really explain the things that you might not have noticed while filming yourself doing the trick. Plus your voice is just too good lmao could do ASMR! Keep it up though man you will go far in life with those explanation skills :P

try to get used to having your weight on the tail. tail stalls in quarters or on ledges could help. or maybe do the same thing as he does in the video at 5:03. btw if you got noseslides you should try bs crooked. they are super easy since ouy already have the balance from noseslides. although getting out is super tricky for me.

just gotta keep at it... tail slides are one of those things that take a while to get... get more comfortable with your ollie ... practice doing a 180 tail stall on a ledge and gradually add the angel and speed.... if you can 180 lip stall, then you are part of the way there.. this might be a trick that you fall on before you get the feeling.. try not to be too scared, it gets more natural.. for instance- watching this video, its really just a switch 180 to a goofy foot nose slide so im going to practice my switch tailslides today
