Had a perfect run yesterday. Had all the good boons and none of the bad. Made it to the boss with basically full honor and realized I did not have enough dps to whittle him down before he whittled me down. I’m destroying T15 and 16 maps. I’m all done with the trials in EA.

You could talk more about relics. Seeing one more room is good. Fountains drop double water is also very good. Increased defenses is also awesome to boost your honour. Merchant offers 2 more items is very good too.

The advice is overall reasonable, but an important improvement to the Zarokh fight is : use a Silver Charm (if you can get one with min 120 charges - aka 3 uses - and increased duration, the better). You can even TP out right before the boss fight, go to town / well and fully refill your charm before the fight of necessary. Of course, as you said, ms boon and high ms boots, blink, etc helps a lot as well... but Silver Charm is where it's really at (instead of ms on relics, rather look for rez until capped and bosses take % more dmg... shorter fight = easier fight... but this is mainly for farming him later; early on, high/capped honour rez + charm should be a smooth ride).

I do have to add that his large sliding circle attack also applies a slow afaik and can consume / waste charm charges... this is bad because for the ball pickup phase, your charm might be depleted which makes things more iffy. Just something to keep in mind...

I expected, since the story was going into time travel, that Act1 cruel was part of the story, like we were going to find out we messed something up in the past and that was why events were repeating, and I expected subtle changes here and there. Didn't realize it was just a placeholder for the last 3 acts. Would have been cool to play more with the time travel aspects.

@@P4wnyhof yep. I had hundreds of hours in D4, and just over 100 on Poe2. I had fun both games. On LE, I only have 44hrs and got bored. Only thing LE has advantage of is its pure offline mode.

Yeah controller is amazing for everything except esca[e trials - YOu can't interact with the crystals unless everything nearby is dead =[ With Mouse and keyboard you can pick up items on the move with enemies around you and interact with the crystals without having to kill them them first

Make sure you don’t have a skill bind also assigned to the controller action button should fix that. It should just look like a hand graphic to allow you to click/pick up in combat.

Wait, our tool tip dps include your critical strike damage? Even if you aren’t doing crits with every hit? Like if I have 33% crit hit chance my tool tip dps shows my damage as if it was 100% that’s extremely weird and I feel like it’s normally done the opposite way.

Yes your tooltips increases dps with more crit/crit dmg bonus - Play with some nodes in your passive tree and you will see Its kinda weird^^

At least u have a chance for advantage during the trial of sek so its slightly easier, I think doing the chaos trial is good for the soul cores (10plus exalt on Currency exchange)but more difficult as u can only get debuffs during the run

Reduced slow potency is just as effective as runspeed Also Merchant options, reduced prices and double sacredness water are very effective, just buy all boons with reduced speed and +speed for yourself as well as reducing hp of monsters and more attack damage for yourself So ye, there are options, merchant is my go to

Easiest solution is to sit back and wait for GGG to come to their senses. Its not like there is a rush to get to the top of endgame since its just as imbalanced as the trials. Play your toons, have fun, wait for the game to be finished.

Yeahh I can agree with this feeling, imo it’s a little ridiculous to lock pieces of your classes behind the trails. I get you want players to interact with them but you can argue adding exclusive uniques would do the same. Maybe I’m just crazy who knows

The 4th Ascendancy should be bind behind effort and due to the last dev talk they wont change it. The company is called "Grinding Gear Games"....guess why. 😊 Game is way to easy atm and with around 5 Div u can faceroll all content with every char...dont give up and keep farming. 😉

I don't get it and how you did it. I've tried it 3 times now without any movement afflictions and 30% movement speed on my boots and I get slowed down so bad trying to hit the pickups i might as well be standing still 🤬

I just reached to lvl 50 as mercenary legionary class, and I have only x4 Djinn Barya. I have done x2 Trials so far with 4 levels max. I have only 4 ascendent points so far. Thus, how did you manage to gather so much coins? and how do you reach to that very high level dps amounts really? What is the end game purpose in this game?

I can't get past the second, get to the end and can't get near it to kill it without losing all my honour. Going to try not using blink, I think the cool down was what got me killed. I suppose I can take it out for the boss.

I got you "you take no damage in next room" boon from merchant right before final boss :D And it works! :D Easy life :D Unfortunately, turns out, my demon form build cannot complete boss fight because of a bug, which crashes the game :/

I glide through the forth ascendent but lost at the boss 😭 twice I really melt everything with level 82 lightning warp sorc. I believe if Boss is not mentioned in the boom then it doesn’t work there like the get full hp/honour/es when getting low 100% doesn’t work.

im 0-2 on the 4th boss. 1st I had both damage and MS buffs. But what killed me is the lightning phase (you can easily hide in the corner of the arena, wait until he turns 4 times). 2nd tried the cheese mechanic of the lightning phase but I was not able to get the damage buff and MS buff ( I had the enfeeble curse and merchant sells 1 item debuff) the hourglass phase killed me. You can easily dodge all boss skills but if you do not have enough movespeed with your boots and buff, you fail before it even started

Yeah they need to fix that level at 5:25 for console players. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve failed on that type of level because it doesn’t let you click X on the controller if even 1 mob is aggro’d to you.

I'm only leaving a comment to say that having a 45 minute video for a simple question is too much. For Passive Points 5 and 6 complete either: The Trial of the Sekhemas via a Level 60+ Djinn Barya with "Number of Trials: 3" (3 floors), OR, The Trial of Chaos via a Level 75+ Inscribed Ultimatum with "Number of Trials: 10" (10 Rounds). Passive Points 7 and 8: Complete either: The Trial of the Sekhemas via a Level 75+ Djinn Barya with "Number of Trials: 4" (4 floors) AND its Pinnacle Boss Fight, OR, Defeat the Pinnacle Boss Fight behind the locked doors in the Trial of Chaos via a Level 75+ Inscribed Ultimatum with "Number of Trials: 10" (10 Rounds) AND all three fragments; Cowardly Fate, Deadly Fate, and Victorious Fate.

Without 3 additional merchant choices its way harder. You need to play the endboss at least 3 times for normal adrenalin fight. Dodgeroll is King in Normal Phase.

This Mode has so many issues with this honour system shiiit. Did two trials yesterday. First one I randomly lost my energy shield which reduced my max honor by over 10k. Then tried the final boss and got killed by his stupid one hit in second phase (didn't watch a video before, still a stoopid mechanic). The next trial I lost over 19.000 Honour by one hit by a fire trap. HOW ist this not bugged? How can I lose almost 20k Honour by one hit of a trap?

"randomly" yeah. as for 20k honour - looks like some bug cuz its impossible to loose 20k in one fire trap, did 3 asc with 10k honour. stack honour resistance.

@ had over 75% resist… and no debuffs regarding my relics or similar. Only a 100% buff to trap damage. But normally they do like 100/200 dmg to my honor… And for the energy shield. The only thing I can imagine is that it was „a minor affliction“… but how is that minor, if I lose 60% of my defense and 50% honour I just don‘t like this trial. It‘s trash

@@soghotze play rest of the game normally to some point, u will do that crappy trial easy-peasy, mark my words. stack relicks, uprade them, focus on honor resistance 1st and max honor later. had simillar feelings, now learned to like it, to choose rooms better (escape, ritual, hourglass, gauntlet at the end, but if afflictions are trash then it could be 1st too). honestly now im looking for last item to do trial instead of that endgame mapping wich seemed niec but now looks kinda meh. they could easily use their creativity and come up with more different stuff than that

Easiest way to beat the Trial of Sekhemas is to beat Trial of Chaos instead. So much easier and also a great farming method. By the time you collect the door fragments you might even farm 150-200 ex

What really pisses me of with Sehemas is that you can do one failure at the end and you can start all over again, even though you can do those trials "blind" by the time. I dont see the fun. Especially not because they are getting very lengthy. It's not challenging at this point in time, but only punishing. Hope they rework that so you can start on the last floor at least (maybe with a Malus in max Honor)...

The fact that the ascension stuff is hard is one thing but it is also in no way shape or form fun. I can't think of anything in the game I'd currently rather do less than the trials. I have a hand full of mid 70's and none have completed more than the first two trials. If maps(endgame) wasn't so boring I'd probably just farm and pay someone for the final points. I'd almost rather fight cancer than the trials.
