Do you sell the clear tape between the glass top and the chassy? Replacing the fan swith on a GE PP989SN2SS

Now: replacing the one from a 30 year old cooktop with the SUB for that. Which is the 10119 one. The old infinite switch male markers are a light years difference between old and new.

What is your model number?

@@appliancepartspros JP328F(1 or 2)WW. It doesn't say if it's a 1 or 2 between the F and W. But I don't think it matters. The new infinite switch they suggest for it now has markings to show which wire goes where are VERY different from each other. Is there a website I can go to that explains the translation?

You will need to look at the back of the old switch and hook the wires to the same terminal on the new switch. Make sure H1 is to H1 and H2 is to H2 and L1 to L1 and L2 to L2 ect

Any videos for the jenn air JEC9530ADS switch kit, got new switch in, spliced the sensor wires hooked everything up, on the original it was a red on the 2a and tan for right coming out element right beside yellow, on the new one put red on 2a and yellow tan off element had a black didnt know where it went any info on that would be helpful, directions are vague

I have an older JennAir downdraft cooktop with the cartridge type burners. 3 of the 4 burners are either off or on, all or nothing. Is there a way to test or repair the switches, or does the all or nothing indicate replacement? Thanks!

Show them S how them how to repair those expensive switches... lol .. Open (somehow) and then take a fine file and remove the corrosion build up on the contacts of the thermal metals ?? Right ?? But sorry, that will hurt your business.
