Tools: 1/4" nut driver, flathead screwdriver, small flathead screwdriver.

I watched another video which did not include the steps of removing the connections from the rear panel or removing the control panel. The back panel fell off the washer and could have damaged the connecting wires. I then put everything back together and then had an error code. This was because the orange air tube was not connected to the circuit board prong which was a result of me unknowingly pulling off its connection. I wish I had viewed this video beforehand and I would have saved myself several hours trying to figure out where I went wrong and going through the disassembly /reassembly process more times than needed. This video shows the right way to do things. Thank you.

The inlet valve replacement video was informative and allowed me to tackle the replacement job without concern. All went as shown in the video. Valve was replaced within 10 minutes and the hot water leak into the tub has been corrected. Also, Appliance Parts Pros shipped the part very quickly. Thank you!

thank you soooo much for making this video! I was able to change my initial water valve and reconnect everything back how it's suppose to go. I wasched somone eles video about replacing it but he did not mention anything about the pressure sensor hose. My washer has not been working for 2 weeks and I have been going crazy trying to fix it. with your video I was able to check all the connections and realized I never plugged that hose in. thank you once again!!

I consider this a 2 beer job. Drink 1 while replacing the valve…hook everything up, turn water on and plug it in. Drink the 2nd beer while the control board runs it course…10 minutes

Thanks for showing that the control panel doesn't come completely free. I'm sure you're saving some cables from being ripped out in the future. Also the technique for disconnecting the rear access panel cable also seems super helpful.

Nice video, thanks for mentioning that the valve might be bad if product is left in dispenser. That is how mine started. Now it is dripping into the tub. I'm sure I have a bad valve. I'll be ordering one from you web site.

I want to thank you for your video. When I removed the water valve assembly, I mistakenly removed the orange water hose. When I completed the new assembly and turned the washer back on, it did not go in to the wash cycle and came up with an H2O supply error. Of all the other videos that I watched, no body mentioned the orange air hose. I reattached the orange hose and now everything is working.

Just did this repair....FYI on my machine, the 3rd clip that attaches to the new part doesn't come off like the others. He doesn't show it on the video, but I would take the ld part out and then .....flip it over to see the clip that needs pressing down to release that one.

Good point, I took a large needle nose pliers and pinched the center of the connector and pulled it off.

I have GE wash but different model. Washer is not filling up with water and after it automatically turns off. Is that the water inlet valve problem?

What is the model number of your washer? You aren't getting any water in the machine at all?

It appears that if you are getting the Supply H2O code that it could be an issue with the pressure sensor or the supply valves being turned off.
