Can confirm this still works as at 21st March 2021. Few things to note: this MUST be done with a wishing piece, it can't be a randomly spawned beam already existing in the wild area. Secondly it can be a red or purple beam, both give 2000 Watts after beating the champion

Pro tip: Don't wait 24 real-life hours for watt traders to reset. Just use a max raid den to set your clock one day forward (it will NOT work if you only push the clock forward - you must also reroll the den) and all the traders will have new inventory.

We'll say vendor a has a heal ball and vendor b has a net ball. Now go back to your purple beam and repeat the process I just said then go back to the vendors. Theres a chance they can have the same inventory but I've been able to cycle through all the vendors like this

Just a quick add on: when you do this it not only resets that den but it also resets every other den, Pokemon spawn, spawned loot, digging brothers, and most importantly it changes what the wild area watt shops have in store so you can keep a rotation on what the store guys have until the luxury ball pops up. I usually go around looking for what they all have and grab some new loot, berries, and other den dynamax spawns that also give you another 2k Watts or 200 watts. Grab 10 eggs to hatch and do this in the wild area as they hatch to kill time and get stuff.

Works as of May of 2022, need to use a wishing piece though and the beam can be red or purple. Make sure you've become the champion first! Also once you've changed the date you can hit B and then the home screen again and it will be selected on your active game (pokemon) and you can just hit A again to launch it.

For those having a problem w/ this method, make sure you check all the requirements. This still works as of 11/26/2019. Requirements: 1. Become the Champion 2. Use a wishing star in an inactive den. Note: This will not work if the den is already active. You will just waste time.

The commonly known and easy to execute method with the old man in Viridian City from Red and Blue is patched out in Yellow, but there are still ways to both find and catch Missingno in Yellow which will still mass duplicate the sixth item slot in your Bag. Namely, the Mew/Ditto glitch. Surely more involved, as it requires more setup and more caution, but it is certainly enough to include the full first generation of games, with Yellow inclusivity, when referring to the Missingno duplication glitch. Hey, turns out the Watt Traders change each time you Watt Farm. You don’t have to wait 24 hrs. You can just repeat a Watt Farm until a trader near you gets Lux balls.

now with Isle of Armor this became SO much easier, there is a guy that digs up wats in exchange for Armorite ore, he easily picks up 40-80k for me every time

Right but farming for the 7 armorite can take a long time if you have bad luck to don’t know the routs. And he can very much give you as little as 14k watts making each armorite (which maybe took like 10 minutes to find ) worth only 2k.
