well if you think about it, upon restoring peace in the Metro Kingdom, the ladies appear and are already swinging it. upon failing they have a small break but as soon as you get even slightly away they keep on swinging it, which in my understanding leaves it to that they just constantly swing it waiting for someone to jump about. So as soon as you restore peace in the Metro Kingdom, they start swinging about. *_leaving them swinging for their eternity_*

I tried this glitch numerous times, but could never get past getting the camera to lock at the start, but I did eventually get the 100 jump moon while sitting on the scooter. It's actually a lot easier to do while on the scooter than just being Mario.

It still works as of December 26th. Just used it to get the Jump Rope Genius power Moon. And if you talk to the NPC that asks you if you know about the action guide, it plays Talkatoo’s dialogue before your own, and then breaks you out of the glitch so you can collect your moon.

100% working October 2020 and you don't have to roll and long jump just keep cappy close when you hit a a be ready to watch other direction very fast so it doesn't catch the bird. First thought put camera sensitivity on high and practice just getting it to glitch. That's half the battle. Then the other is the running away getting on other side of rope.out of sight of bird crouch back flip and ground pound while turning towards the bird. It WILL work. Thanks for the video

If the camera gets stuck, you can simply teleport to any checkpoints, that way, te camera will follow you again. 2. you don't need to back flip, roll, long jump nor ground pound, you simply must get talkatoo out of the camera as fast as possible, in fact you simply gotta jump and rotate the camera to talkatoo at the same time 3. if mario gets stuck in the air, you can just dive or jump or do anything.

After about 15mins of trying and the camera and Mario not locking in place as I did the backflip into ground pound I finally got it to work. The hat was very close to the birds butt and I rolled away and jumped very quickly to get him off the screen camera. Looking at my screen and comparing it to the screen at 4:05 in the video they are almost identical in terms of marios position and what you can see on the screen (like only 1 of the rope holders), so aim for that, I guess, if you are having issues. I type this as I am at 967 jumps and counting, so I can confirm this still works on 12/01/2018. I used the pro controller. Good luck.

I found an even easy-er way 1) Talkatoo glitch 2) roll 3) line camera with the red m 4) backflip and ground pound so that you land in-between the jump rope. Doing this will cause you to get a jump twice as fast

If you wanna use an easier glitch, you can use the "Letter Out of Bounds Glitch." Go to Metro Kingdom, capture the "R," and put it up to the top left corner. Capture the "M" and put it to the side of R. Cram in the "I" and "A" if you want too. Grab the scooter and ram it into the side of the M. Once the scooter is vertically shifted, capture the M. If the M slightly clips into the R, then get out and capture it. Once you're out of bounds with the R, head over to the jump rope, eject, and land on top of it so you must not spam the B button.
