@Ann Stine Well I found out about my Hashimoto's October 2020, and my TSH was 86. After 5 days on the Pure Hypernourishment Protocol by Dr. Brooke Goldner my TSH had already dropped to 7. I did Pure Hypernourishment ( only green smoothies and salads) for 3.5 weeks. My TSH, T3, and T4 all became in range by then. My TPO antibodies have been the slow thing to drop. I am still positive as of today, but originally it was above 1000. As of February 2022 my TPO antibody level was 161. Once the TPO antibodies are below 60 I will be NEGATIVE. I never started medication, I've only changed my diet. After the initial 3 and a half weeks of only healing foods, I continued green smoothies for breakfast, but do WFPB oil, refined sugar free the rest of the day.

@Ann Stine You don't reverse it, you may get better meaning your symptoms wont be so bad. I did her protocol and brought my Hashi autoimmune markers down by quit a bit however I still have Hashi's and need to pay attention to everything I eat, Dr Goldner's program is a great place to start to heal and improve but you wont get rid of it completely. Chef AJ did an interview with Dr. McDougall about Autoimmune and he said to her we won't get rid of it we can just try and not get worse. I hope this helped

I’m Indian and I’d like to shout it from the rooftops. But unfortunately, telling people about it never goes the right way. I’d rather follow Dr Lisle’s advice and not say that this is great. People feel threatened and get defensive. Also although Indians are genetically so much more prone to lifestyle diseases, we are addicted to Indian food and their palates cannot tolerate food without spices being toasted in oil. It’s so ironic and such a tragedy that 40% of India is vegetarian and the cuisine is a treasure trove of plant based recipes of only you left out the oil and dairy.

The only places where fresh dates are typically seen are where they are grown. In the USA, 99% of the dates are dried because it's more efficient to transport and store them. I have never seen a fresh date, only dried ones. Only Californians have access to the fresh version here.

This is an awesome interview! I get so frustrated when medical professionals deny the results with the idea that it couldn’t have been x because x is incurable. It’s a fundamental part of doing science to approach every conclusion with skepticism, ie the conclusion that x is only manageable, not curable. That allows you to see the data and draw more accurate conclusions. The data do not lie. ❤

I know I am commenting frequently but I pause the video when I run across something. She specifically said that eating avocados “all they want” (presumably thus includes eating them in excess) does not cause people to gain weight but this goes against science itself. If a woman consumes 3000 cal of avocado she’s definitely going to gain weight (from a scientific point of view). Does she agree with that particular consensus on that or does she say that excess calories of certain foods doesn’t cause weight gain? Or perhaps she realizes that at some point it will cause weight gain but maybe she figured people “knew this“….but I deal with clear and concise language because I was trained as a biologist, but also as a chemist, and especially in chemistry they want your write ups to be concise and repeatable to any layman who reads it. Just want to ask her if she actually believes that eating infinite avocados will not cause weight gain LOL. This is in response to what was talked about at approximately the 47:55 point in the video. And also if someone has 300 cholesterol readings, or say has a 95% blockage of a major artery, which she also think that even medium volumes of nuts and avocado are fine? Especially in excess. Just really needing clarification on that. Thank you!

I'm going to download this! I have Sjögren's, fibromyalgia, Dupuytren's (genetic hands/feet), erythromelalgia, rheumatoid arthritis yada, yada, yada. I've only been vegan for 3 years but vegetarian since I was 12 when we passed a giant paddock of cows all bunched together. I asked my father why they were so crowded and he told me it was an abattoir, so they were about to be killed. I cried for hours and declared there in the back seat of the car I would never eat animals again. Unfortunately we didn't really have access to knowledge about how many animal products are in vegetarian foods back then. Being vegetarian was "out there" when I was young. But it is so impressive listening to all these interviews with the "bundlees" - I'm so glad I bought it. Thank you AJ 🙏🏻💜

I feel like Covid gave me autoimmune inflammatory issues. I developed symptoms similar to mild Guillian Barre at the end of my hospitalization. It began in tips of big toes, grew up my legs into my fingers and forearms and up left cheek to under my eye, to my upper lip and on my nose. The tingling can get so severe, and the fingers, toes and nose is so intolerant to cold weather. When I stick to WFPB no oil and no sodium it seems to get better. Sometimes I forget I have this condition. The tingling electric storm in my extremities seemed best after fasting for 3 days only having 1 banana and a handful of arugula per day. I had 5 lobe pneumonia and 5 days into the hospitalization I developed bilateral pulmonary emboli. The heparin preventative shots didnt prevent the clots. Although my lungs have scarring and remaining clots in my lungs from covid, and preexisting asthma, my pulmonary function test passed with flying colors. My asthma has never been so controlled. I attribute it to WFPB and 5 mile hikes with a hiking club.

I really hope Brooke sees my comment because I would like to clarify something she said. She mentioned about dates being dried fruit but they are not dried fruit they are fresh fruit. I don’t know if this particular fresh fruit is still not optimal for some reason but it’s definitely not a dried fruit. Would love to hear thoughts on this and I am definitely going to do her protocol as soon as they release the login information… thank you!
@CHEFAJ2 жыл бұрын
Dr Goldner most likely does not read these comments. Dates are not dried fruit, however, although they are a healthy natural food and great for use as sweetener in desserts, they are a high fat food and should be used sparingly if losing weight is your goal.

seaweed/kelp, iodized salts, iodine supplements, and/or fortified plant mills are really good ways to get iodine. I highly recommend purchasing a container of dulse flakes or kelp flakes from whole foods (it’s a seasoning bottle by maine coast sea vegetables). Just one teaspoon gives over 1000% of iodine, so you can just sprinkle some onto food (and you don’t even taste it).
