Dzięki Monica! This is amazing. It was me who emailed asking for this ❤ So much useful information in this video. I actually have an interview on Wednesday for a company that my brother drives for but if that isn't successful i will for sure try some of your suggestions. This video is amazing and i hope you get hundreds of thousands of views 🙂

How much do class 1 and 2 earn on average, im thinking of doing it 🤔
@hgvrulestheeasyway8999 ай бұрын
Depending on the area but for class 2 you can expect anything between £35-£40k. For class 1 £40k +. But there is also an option of doing class 2 plus ADR if you want better money.

The money is absolutely garbage at the minute unless you're up for tramping? Class 2 jobs are paying roughly £13/£14 per hour and I've even seen Class 1 jobs paying £14 per hour which is a joke and I'm based in the so called "golden triangle". I'm currently in the process of going for my 360 licence and getting off the HGVs as that appears to be where the money is. My brother earns £25 per hour on them.

you never see the bus industry saying they need experience to get a job on the buses..... ok maybe 6 months driving a car.. what I'm saying is in the bus industry, if you have a pcv/psv licence you are most likely get a job, and with a hgv licence, you don't... this is why you see more and more young bus drivers! say you passed car test at 17, dunno what to do after school, after 6 months car driving experience, bus companies are happy to train you up and get you in the driver seat! and driving buses is much harder than lorries.. and some buses are much longer than class 2 lorries! you don't often see 18 year old driving lorries, my local first bus depot just passed 2 new drivers, an 18 and a 19 year old! what does that tell ya, the hgv industry has the mentality of so what if you have a licence, no experience no job.... you can't blame the ''shortage'' on brexit, blame the companies and their mindsets. you have shitload of new hgv licence holders waiting YEARS for their first runs.
