Even better news is that the 992.2 Carrera T manual is a 6 (not 7) speed. I love my shark blue manual 718 Cayman S, but a 911 T (in Lugano blue) looks very tempting.

Think there will be a manual on the S? The manual on the Turbo is an interesting one. That was basically the formula for the 992 Sport Classic.

Lame and wrong video. All anyone has to do is go to Porsche's website and get even better information. All you have to do is tick the "manual" box to see what can be ordered with a.....wait for it........manual transmission. There you will see that there is no GT3 available. Soooo.....no, you can't get that car, much less in a manual. There is the T model, and that is available with a manual. And that's it. And it's the 6 speed, rather than the 7 speed. Which is lame. True, there is the ST model with a manual........but I'm betting that's almost impossible to order.

I would never buy a Porsche without a manual transmission. Automatic transmissions are for city traffic jam driving or for racing. I will do neither. There are now so many Porsche models that I can't keep track of them all, but I would like to see a manual on a 4WD or a Turbo...

Driving a sports car with an automatic transmission is like dating your cousin. Why would anyone ever want to do that?

@@GlennsCarCollection I read somewhere that the plan is for a manual on the base Turbo but without AWD or 4WS. Can't say I want all that power without those features. After all the Turbo is not for the track but rather for touring. Maybe on a 4S would be better.
