Good stuff. I enjoyed your video. I encourage beginners to match a pitch by singing after playing it on their instrument. Some can do it and some can't unfortunately. It's a good way to tell what kind of ear they have.

Nick - many thanks for that, wise word and very timely. I’d recently come to understand that if I could not hear the note in my head, then I’d struggle to accurately make the interval. Adding a singing concept to that makes perfect sense. Just sung my way through the Lazy Yawns.
