No. You need to have at least 3 tracks released with DistroKid. Once you have the third one release then you'll see that drill-down option and then you link your KZbin channel with DistroKid and then you check your KZbin channel and right close to your KZbin channel name you'll see a icon and if you put your cursor on it it will say "Verified Artist Channel". Apart from that, of course, your KZbin Channel must have some videos available otherwise it does not make sense to verify an KZbin Channel without any content on it. Cheers & Best Regards.

had to change my name because KZbin doesn't allow special characters, just a heads up if you have special characters in your name on distrokid you have to change your name on KZbin before being able to have an official artist account.
