There are very good apps as Quizlet. With Quizlet we can create our own list (or just import an already created one) and learn with games, flash cards, associate expressions with images and be evaluated. By now I use Quizlet to learn phrasal verbs (just because I’m focusing it at this moment).

Presently, what I'm doing to increase my vocabulary is watching TEDx Talks on KZbin without subtitles. When I come across a new word, I turn on subtitles to see how it's written (sometimes when the captions are automatically generated, they are misspelled or completely invented) and look it up in the dictionary. Maybe I write it down and repeat it during the day. TEDx Talks are about a lot of exciting subjects, I follow mostly the cultural and scientific ones. It seems to work for me.

In Brazil we call it "estagnado". Comes from the verb "estagnar". Acho que eu estagnei no inglês. Não to aprendendo mais nada.

Read every day story so you would have vocabs that you do not know so you can write their meaning and write sentence about them.
