How To Get Along With Type 6's

Im a 6 and noticed I tend to be very attracted towards 9s. I appreciate their calm, warm nature. My two closest people in my life are 9s and when Im with them I feel at peace and know everythings going to be okay. We love you guys

I am a six but cannot relate to the fears about stuff like daily life, finances, social issues or anything like that. I am also not very attached to places or random people, I am actually quite a nomad and flexible like noone else when it comes to change of plans and so, BUT I can completely relate to the negative mind-set and anxiety when it comes to my nearest people. I need that validation that everything is ok between us and I am also extremely loyal to them... that is where my sixness and fears comes out... And yes, I am VERY attracted to eights and ones... I love confidence in people.

I'm a 5 wing 6, so I've got the best and the worst of both types going on. This video and the one you did about getting along with type 5's are very easy to relate to. Yeah, "flight then fight" fits people like me well. I'll retreat to what seems like a safe spot and then turn and defend it from there. Like when you play an RTS videogame like Starcraft or Age of Empires, you build up a fortress that your units can hide in when they are attacked. If you advance in the tech tree enough before they attack, you can even build turrets and towers that fire at the enemy while protecting the units. Now and then, you send out units to fight off the attackers so that they can't destroy your fortress. If you can get built up powerfully enough, you send your army out on the offensive to take out your opponent. But you need the defensive position to fall back to if the opponent is stronger than you thought he was. For people like me, social situations are a lot like this in a metaphorical way.

9w1 here in Idaho. That was laugh out loud funny! Was just around a friend’s (a 3) new girlfriend this weekend and she questioned EVERYTHING… I thought , wow not sure this is going to go the distance… seemed like alot to manage, unless like you said.. don’t take their questions too personally .. which can be a tall order. ❤️
