I have thought about doing 'my design career' type of video so might do it soon. In short- I got an internship, worked for nothing for about 5 months and then eventually few months later got a paid position 👍 Once you have your foot in the door it's so much easier to get a job and climb the ladder

There was a job ad for an internship and I managed to get it. I think it's worth expressing that you are interested to stay in the company after your internship finishes and hear out any feedback they might have for you. This way you have some time to improve if needed and have the chat again when your time is up ✌️
