How to Get Better Graphics & Less Lag for the Sims 3 in 2024

I'm playing sims 3 on windows 11. It works fine! It did have problems initially because it wasn't optimized for 11 and had a problem that caused error 12, but that's been updated sometime early last year.

I just used the system booster in razer cortex and IT FREED 162 GB OF SPACE HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE 😭😭 i'm so glad you talked abt it in the video

you should just get cc magic instead of merging your own packages, because it already basically merges it for you, but it works great, and its super easy to organize

yay finally! i love using the regal save file cleaner before starting up any game, and resetting the town's through nraas when things get buggy. but I am also terrified of downloading shaders, it's good to know you have no issues!!

My problem is that whenever I update my driver (which is also nvidia) it always messes with my graphics and I'm not speaking of only the options.ini file, I mean it messes with something completely obscure that I have no idea how to fix. For example, I have antialising forced on my Nvidia control panel, but after I updated my graphics if I zoom out, the graphics look jagged still, but if I zoom in, they look perfectly fine. It's very annoying, I've seriously considered changing graphics cards :'))))

Just wanted to mention if story progression is lagging but you want to try it, dont get all add-ons and make sure its set to snail pase 😊

i play ts3 on windows 11 and it works fine, i only play with 4 expations, so i dont have a lot of lagging.

I have a similar gaming laptop with similar specs. I notice that when I run OBS studio to record my gameplay it makes my game start to lag. Do you have any suggestions/guide on how to use OBS while playing the sims3 and not having the game freeze or lag?

This is a great question. I have noticed a little bit of lag when I use obs but not drastic! I felt that ending tasks with other apps in the background helped a bit but also, when you open task manager, right click the sims 3 while in game and make it the top priority over an other app that is open. That may help with lag while recording with obs

i got an alienware computer and wasn’t able to even open the sims 3 and what i had to do was download the adler lake patch by lazy duchess, it makes it so the game recognizes new pc’s. this might be what’s happening with you as well!

wrong you can play all sims games on both win 10 and 11 from sims 1 to sims 4.

i had win 11 but then back to win 10 because after a patch it wiped all my drivers so pc repair place told 11 have problems with all new design stuff and testing stuff they said to stay with 10 until 12 comes out.
