Love the new color! I'm a bit of a perfectionist but I just tried milk paint for the first time on a pair of nightstands since they were shiny and had a lot of imperfections. There was a little bit of a learning curve since I got bits of pigment that settled to the bottom but over all they turned out pretty good. Thanks for all the videos giving me the courage to try it.

I love SPMP! I'm a retailer. Stenciling with it is awesome. If you mix thick you will rarely have bleed through.

The first time I used milk paint, I stuck the emersion blender in and shot paint across the kitchen😁 It has not been my friend. But I still prefer the chippy look you get. The stools are beautiful! I shall persevere😊

I love milk paint and it’s always my go to unless I don’t want chippy and I’m painting white (cuz why paint 3 plus coats if I can get by with less on chalk, you know what I’m saying). I always wondered about stenciling cuz it’s so watery compared to other paints. Txs for the mix ratio tip

Love this! Ive been on the fence whether to do my tv console table with White Swan...or go to milk paint. I want the chippy...my console is stained medium oak now. What about using two colors, can I do that with the milk paint? I’m thinking pantry door in places, then one of the whites all over...hmmm

New subscriber! Would you use this to paint a large table and chairs? I love this neutral color and look but I’m not sure what the best paint for a larger job would be. Also, my table is two toned with black top and legs, and natural wood on chair seats. I was thinking I need to paint all one color as a base and then apply the milk paint so under color is consistent? And was is best to seal with on kitchen table? Thank for all that you do! Can’t go wrong there! I love a light distress. When painting the top it won’t hurt to sand it down a bit so the paint has something to grip to. The top is going to take the most use so that’ll help the paint last longer.

Kendell Vinot sorry you are right. High bond is for chalk paint. Extra bond is milk paint. Extra bond goes in the paint and high bond is painted under the chalk pint.

Yes it will.

You may want to do the recommended amount of extrabond unless you want lots of chipping though.

I don’t know if you can see it on the video but the written five and six have the same spacing from the edge as the numeric 5 and 6. It just tricks your eye and looks off because of the negative space under the written form of the number. 😊

Both can be used on walls. And I would try a small section and see if it chips before doing a whole wall but it should work.
