I feel like even if you know all these healthy steps that you need to take in order to work through the situation, or know for yourself that it's ok to feel this way it's still super valuable to hear it from someone else, especially if it's someone who's opinion you respect/matters to you, like, for example, you guys. It basically validates you and feels really good, cause the break up in general usually makes you feel quite isolated.

Thanks for another great episode :D 100% agreed that closure has to come from within. I find that it come from time, thinking it through, talking it out with friends, reading books, watching shows/movies, spending energy elsewhere (hobbies, friends, family, etc).

Hey guys! I just had a final “closure” talk with my ex (relationship was 7 years) last week and ironically I did feel at peace with the chapter being closed. Now granted my ex and I have been broken up for over a year and I had already done my own closure and self healing journey up to the point where I didn’t NEED to have the conversation with my ex but I’m glad that it did happen. I have moved on and I’m in a very happy and healthy relationship! My current relationship reminds me every day why my ex was toxic and why I will never date her again as long as Im breathing. But before I found my new girl, I really filled my life with friends and family and work. That was enough to help me get through the single life and the “will I ever find someone” phase. I also think its great advice that when you’re thinking about your ex remind yourself how awful they were to you lol we do tend to romanticize things after a break up and forget the awful things the person did to us!! I would also say air your ex out to your friends and family lol they will be the ones to hold you accountable if you even think about trying to open that door again. Love the Podcast! You two are hilarious and I pray that God continues to bless your marriage❤

I liked your zodiac talk a good idea to talk about on a podcast would be one about all your friends and why they are your friends!

oh! in relation to their zodiac? or just in general

one thing you can be proud of is the loving relationship you cultivated together. the world is full of noise, don't let it silence the brilliance within each and every one of us. keep going Taryn! and Cam!

Taryn! Happy to chat sometime about being okay with "non-doing". Obvi we're taught to work and that being lazy is no good. And therefore, we want to work to be stable but that doesn't necessarily make us happy. If it's any help, I'm currently working as a fractional PM (working 20hrs/week) while also pursuing other creative projects for myself not for other people. Switching that mindset has helped so that I can ask myself for feedback instead of relying on others for validation, getting to the place where I can trust myself. I do agree with Cammie's suggestions, asking yourself how do you want to feel? did you enjoy doing said thing? are your proud of it? definitely lots to experiment with it to find what works best for you.

I just had time to actually think things over after she blocked me, and I just have a need to apologize and explain, but I can’t. It really hurts. And honestly I don’t get the whole blocking thing tbh
